Quite confusing but somewhat enjoyable. Gotta admit though, Koto looks cute here with that little hat. Of course, she's also got some good fists, a strong stomach, and a rebellious nature.

Rie Kugimiya plays her role in this episode. Dat tsundere.

Also some heartwarming moments of Ishida Akira as Inari (sensei) with Koto under the sunlight.

That sensei might be Koto's father, too young? But he got red eyes!
This feels so much like an intro that I feel to rewatch the first one!
I'm enjoying this so much! I need more! :D

Oh yeah, I've waited for this, I love Koto. The introduction was good and not so hard to follow like the original.

Yup, I think so too and I take it he is a spririt, age shouldn't matter in that case.

Man (Myoue?): "There are two kinds of people in the world. Those who cause me trouble and those who don't. You with me?"
Koto: -passed out, table flip on his face-

I don't know why I found this so funny! xD

Still hard to follow as always, but at least it was a little easier than the last. It was fun to watch though. Again the animation was really nice. I'm thinking about re watching this several times to see if I can get into the groove of this anime, it's so complex. XD

Hmm. 5 episodes at 9 minutes actual content each, about 45 minutes total? I'd REALLY love for this to turn out well, but I'm not holding my breath.

I can't wait until October. D': Why must it take so long for the next one to come out?? Really great animation, and the art was good too. Inari's really awesome, and so is SuzuKen's character, as seen in the previous OVA (Myoue, I believe).

I'm looking forward to the next episode :'D

But this was still very entertaining. It makes a bit more sense than the first one did since it cleared up some things.

On this one, a goal is really established since she wants to see her mother.

Wow, so we got to see a little about Koto's past and then it leads up the beginning scenes of the original or so I think. I'm trying to remember the crazy ONA I watched a year ago. I definitely recognise Koto's giant hammer though!

For the most part, I didn't understand most of it either but there's a certain charm about this show and it's wonderful soundtrack which puts a smile on my face. I really enjoyed this ep.

Why do people want this to make sense? Making sense is boring. A girl sprinting around a strange, half-digital, rainbow-esk world, smashing people's faces in with an energy hammer with no explanation is not boring.

I didn't like this nearly as much as the original, but it was still nice. The animation is awesome.

After having just watched the vague ONA (which gives no explanations whatsoever), it was nice to move on to this and get some background info for Kota.

The art is as wonderful as it was in the ONA, though the crazy was turned down a notch in this first episode. It still looks to be epic though, and I'm kinda liking the fact that they're dedicating an episode to each character. That way we'll learn some more about the crazy inhabitants of Mirror Kyoto! It's too bad this will only be 5 x 10 min. >_<

Hopefully Lady Koto whom I love will get her own episode as well~

Oh hey I just realized it takes inspiration from Alice in Wonderland Through the Looking Glass/Lewis Carroll's works or something. Should've known when I recognized the Life is but a Dream poem from the first ONA, and it's obvious from the shot where we see the book lying on the grass near Inari and Koto, as well as the black bunny at the end going towards the random portal thing that opened :O

(Haha and I just checked the forum and found that someone else posted a clearer connection about this, people should go read it because it's interesting http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=485819)

okay so we now have a little background on Koto and Inari, Animation is beautiful still, and the humor is still there. Sad its short, but at least we get to learn about the characters!

Meh, just because it was inspired by Alice in Wonderland, it doesn't really increase my interest in this anime.

A lot of anime have been influenced by other works.

I don't see how useful this addition is to the original ONA... Sure, it gives a bit more informations about the heroin's past. But what's good with that? (We had everything useful already included in the previous work.)
