Fucking.. i don't even know how long it's been since i finished Code Geass but it's the first time i talk to someone that actually disliked it. Honestly i love you so much you don't even.. i was getting so sick of the bullshit surrounding that series. Unfortunately it was one of the first titles i watched, and being told it was one of the best anime ever i forced myself to sit through it-- but God was it awful. Actually i gave the second season a bonus point for delivering a powerful ending, but that doesn't mean much when the rest of the series is shit, hence my final score.
Spoiler: i don't actually love you.
Suisei no Gargantia.. the confusion might be coming from the fact that part of the script was written by Urobuchi.. but this is not like his past works [Mahou Shoujo, Phantom, Psycho-Pass]. Anyway.. i guess that at this point it could go either way, but it's very possible that it's another one of those 'stop and smell the flowers' kind of anime, that just aim to create a new world, fill it with likable characters and let you immerse yourself in it. For the most part it's successful in achieving that, but at the same time there's not much more that's good about it.
You know what-- fuck you.. i'm the one that likes Misaka with long hair, don't just go stealing other people's preferences. But jokes aside, she did look gorgeous like that.. if not for that monotone voice of hers she'd be perfect. Can't wait for next episode!
Ketsuekigata-kun.. huh.. guess i'll give it a try.
Fukuyama.. now that you mention it, i never heard his voice in Code Geass [watched the dubbed version]. Generally i hate dubbed anime with a passion [it's like the voice actors are paid to do a bad job] but Death Note and Code Geass were surprisingly good in that regard so it didn't bother me. The only problem is that once you watch something dubbed you then can't stand the subbed version, something which i found out the hard way.
Date a Live is a ridiculously overambitious piece of crap, but even i'll recognize that the characters are good. Leaving the MC aside [thankfully the only thing he shares with Kirito are his looks] Tohka [the girl] is gorgeous and Kurumi [antagonist] also looks like another badass character. Actually i dropped the show after watching the first two episodes, but then i came across its trailer [
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AytCKBRQJu0] and the soundtrack as well as Kurumi were enough to make me want to resume it.
Hm.. when it comes to airing anime i generally watch everything, unless the poster is really really awful or the tags unsatisfactory. Usually i enjoy anime tagged under 'psychological', 'drama', 'tragedy', etc, but it's not like i'll decide against a title just because it's missing certain tags. From there i give it two or three episodes to prove itself, then decide whether it's worth continuing. Though when it comes to completed shows i generally look at everything, meaning reviews, forum posts, recommendations, rankings, etc.
Actually just earlier [and i really have to refer to it as 'earlier', i started writing this comment an hour ago] i was thinking how nice it was we were able to have a normal conversation despite the fact that most of my favorite shows you've rated several points lower, so don't worry too much about how i rated something when you talk about it, your honest opinions are always appreciated. Moving back to Aku no Hana i'll address some of the things you talk about. First, the plot and characters. Basically what you said can be simply summarized by saying: 'the characters' behavior is too convenient and the plot focuses too much on the psychological aspect, leaving everything else on the backseat'-- something with which i completely agree. Leaving all that aside, the only reason i enjoy the manga is because i'm a sadist, and Kasuga's daily cries are lovely. As for what the author thinks about the adaptation, he was the one that asked for it to be done this way. Can't remember where i read the interview, but it was something about him wanting to slaughter the viewers.. so basically he wants us to hate it so later we force ourselves to re-watch it and look for whatever hidden values.. something with which i only agree to a certain extent.
EDIT. [

Lot of handicapped characters.. sounds a lot like Katawa Shoujo [
http://vndb.org/v945], where you transfer to a school for disabled people, but you don't really die there so probably not. As for the other titles you mentioned, Phenomeno is the only one i have played, which i though was scary but lacking of any other good qualities. Regardless, you can see my list here: [

Hm.. actually i love all sister characters, be they blood related or not [though blood related ones are best]. However if i can be greedy, my all-time-favorite character would be an older sister [about 2-3 years older] with long-black hair [the hair is important.. fucking long and fucking black] and a dominant personality. Find me a character with those characteristics and i'll go ahead and marry her right now. Though right now the closest thing i have to a type is the girl i showed you on my last comment [Chisa-nee].
Yup, i have a sister that's two years older than me [i'm 19]. Unfortunately she's shorter than me and far from my type, so i guess i wont be getting the onee-chan ending. Then again incest is only attractive in anime anyway.
Which one.. i need to know what websites you're able to access if i am to send more images.
Fuck you, she's mine. You get the boys.
