| OH MY GAWD!!! THE PHANTOM TROUPE FINNALY APEARED!!!!!!!!!!!! I WAS FANGIRLING THE WHOLE TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! most of thevoices fit exept shalark! ywhy did they use a women!? ,omg kuroro looked so sexy!..lol and puu keychan ,that was a nice touch! |

| I'm a bit bothered with Feitan's appearance. I always thought that among the members, he has the most "bandit-like" look. But here it's as if he has flu. I'm pretty happy with Mamoru Miyano as Chrollo since I always find his voice charismatic. ♥ |
| Isn't it crazy they united the voices of L, Light and Near from Death Note? Not to mention putting Tobi's seiyu and Blackbeard's all into one badass villain group. Though I also think Near's voice for Shalnark seemed off. The last guy who voiced Chrollo did a better job as well I believe, but hearing Light say KOROSU again brings warmth to my heart. | Finally, my 2nd favorite arc is beginning! I honestly just want to see Kurapica's badass moments but I also love the Genei Ryodan. I'm sure will see more of them once Togashi continues with his manga (hopefully sometime soon though I doubt it). |

| Chrollo is the man. Voices were good overall. Shalnark's was a little geeky, but we'll all probably get used to it. It's refreshing to hear Romi Paku voice someone other than a teenage male for once, and Mamoru Miyano's awesome as usual. This is where the fun begins. =) |
| Oh my God, did I hear that right? Miyano Mamoru?! This is brilliant! I never would have imagined Chrollo voiced by him before, but oh man, this is perfect! He does calm, cool and twisted so well! |

| The music got a much needed upgrade, I see. It's got the epic tone this arc deserves. I kind of like the voices for the most part. Anyway, I'm looking forward to the rest. |

Colours are different. Karupica looks less cool than in the 90's( I recall he had blue eyes than and not grey, also hairstyle changed for the worse) and so does the Phantom group(they messed up some hair colours with where better in the 90's). So far 90's series is still better. |

| Great way to introduce the phantom troupe! I love Neon's character design. She is really cute; you don't really expect her to be a "boss" of the underworld... or to have a hobby of collecting body parts. |
| At last the phantom troupe reveals them selfs and the Nostrade group is formed. Kurapica is finally going to put his skills to use. This arc is truly something special focusing on not only kurapica's ties and connection to the phantom troupe but also just how fearsome the phantom troupe really is. Up untill now, the hunters have never experienced anyone so dangerous. That all will be proven in the upcoming episodes. |

| Things are finally set in place to get exciting. Neon looks like a character from Kanon. Her eyes are larger than anyone in this anime. |

| Neon's moe look is an incredible contrast (anyone recall "Don't judge a book by its cover"?). I get the feeling she's a lot darker than what we're currently seeing. We finally get an introduction to the Phantom Troupe. It seems Hisoka is wanting to fight the chief guy. Anyway, given the ship captain's description of them near the beginning of the series, things are probably going to turn sour really, really fast once they move. Here we go.... |

| So those are the member of the Phantom Troupe? I must say that the chief constantly appearing in the OP was making me unconfortable. He looks fishy. The boss sure isn't like what I thought he(she) would be like. But in the end, it change pretty much nothing because she's the one who ask for all these creepy object, so she can't be an innocent young girl. |

| Franken looks like earlobes from One Piece while Feitan looks like Levi with a bandana. The Phantom Troupe group looks like a bunch of clowns, they don't have that kind of condescending look as most antagonist groups have. |
