I explained that. Read the end of the review more thoroughly please. I read volumes 1-21 of the manga and watched a couple dozen episodes up to 136 and could not continue as it was "unwatchable."

Yo! I checked out your pics of HxH and I like them alot! (I rally need to make my own collection one day..)
I have to admit, the remake wasn't my cup of tea when it first came out. At the time, I almost finished the first adaption (I got into this series just last year) and I really enjoyed how it was excecuted so when the remake came out all brightly colored and fast paced, I did not like it one bit. Shoot, even the voices grated on me for a while.
However, like you said, the remake has proven me wrong several times now (For instance, all of ep 44 was spectacular in my eyes. Definitely surpassed the original ep). Also, I recently began watching it from the very beginning and it was very fun to watch BECAUSE the pace was fast and straight-forward.
Anyway, how long have you been a fan of HxH and how did you get into it? Also, just for discussion's sake (lol) who are your favorite characters, episodes, etc of Hunter x Hunter? (I'll reply mine later)

Oh, i see. And it doesn't bother me at all, infact i like the idea since i've always thought it's better to ask anime questions here since it's so much easier to get a reliable answer and if you have any further questions you can ask the person who origionaly answered you :)
