The official website of Nakamura Kenji's original TV anime "Tsuritama" was fully launched. It will be aired on the noitaminA block starting this April. Yuki Sanada is a high school boy who cannot communicate with people well and doesn't have a single friend. He lives on Enoshima island with his French grandmother. One day, he meets a boy named Haru. Haru calls himself an alien who visited the Earth for fishing. Another high school boy, Natsuki, and a mysterious Indian, Akira, join the two and the island becomes the center of the event which determines the fate of the world. The synopsis doesn't fully convince me, but the cast 'n staff both seem to be promising, and I just have a hunch that it will prove to be a jolly good series. We shall wait and see.      |

I wonder how much this will actually be about fishing? Remember that [C] was supposed to be about economics. Also, BL sensors on alert. A-1 aren't afraid to make shows that cater to fujoshi. And all of this "high school boy who can't communicate well" stuff is giving me vibes of Ouma Shu... It also seems like one of those shows that will try to balance slice-of-life elements with a sci-fi plot. Another guy friend anime? Kimi to Boku had 5 boys..Danshi has 3, and this one has 4. I'm guessing these types are getting really really extra popular..I actually like the concept of this a bit. I'll watch it.  |

How dare a studio or a show include the female segment of the anime viewing population? That's just stupid. Also since there are no girls in the trailer it is OBVIOUSLY BL. Come on.
