Shame it doesn't have the original Remi though! Heh.

I don't remember where I downloaded it from anymore so I had to upload it myself. Here it is.

ROB THE BOSS! Thanks for Remi!

Is Zambot's OST anywhere? Watanabe is amazing.

What's the Braiger music like starseeker? I'd imagine Lupin/Bond-esque stuff... lol. I know Dancougar has great music though, good stuff.

Most of the stuff I have is probably easy to find, but if you guys need some old 80's mecha music I might have it.

Also anyone know if the Dougram OST is out there? I have it but it's only in two big mp3 files, wonder if someone split it somewhere else.

You're welcome guys. I enjoy good old OSTs pretty much.

Cool to see Dancougar and Braiger OSTs Starseeker. I'll download right away.

Also, if anyone has any request post it here. Someone will answer, if it's not very obscure.

When it comes to great OSTs, certain two animes immediately come to my mind. Those would be Saint Seiya and Touch.

Saint Seiya has a soundtrack as epic as the show itself. Pegasus Fantasy and Soldier Dream are both some of the most unforgettable OPs and from the very first beats you know they can't be from any other anime than StS. The EDs, Eien Blue and Blue Dream are really good songs as well. The first has the same kind of bursting energy to it as there is to Pegasus Fantasy, while the latter is peaceful like a lullaby. Other great tracks include the sad music and Athena's song (I have no idea what their real names are).

Then there's the Touch OST, which I just love. The first OP, simply named Touch, fits the mood of the first quarter of the show when things were simpler and Tacchan was the clumsy clown who always hurt his back when trying to throw a ball. And then, Ai ga Hitoribocchi and the other OPs take a bit more mature tone as Tatsuya himself matures.

The endings are even better than the openings. Kimi ga Inakereba is just heartbreakingly beautiful and it sounds even sadder to someone who knows what happens later on. Seishun makes you feel all nostalgic and Kimi wo Tobashita Gogo is simply the best ending theme ever, especially combined with the ending video.

Great characters deserve great theme musics and that's just what Touch gives them. From Tatsuya's playful Kaze no Message to Kazuya's Hoshi no Silhouette that's filled with youthful passion they shine brilliantly among character theme songs. Kashiwaba's downbeat theme is also one of my favorites.

Not to mention Touch was filled with all those amazing insert songs, I just couldn't get enough of it. Above all, Hoshi no Silhouette was probably my absolute favorite song from Touch if I could only pick one. For some other similar shows, I thought Maison and KOR had really good soundtracks as well.

I've heard a handful of Saint Seiya tracks and yeah, it definitely seems to have a grade A+ soundtrack!

I've had a few people ask me to post the A Little Princess Sara soundtrack (which I do have). I'm not sure if I would be the most qualified to do so, as most of the audio ripping groups are better equipped to do this than I would be.

Well if nobody else has done it before or is not showing interest in doing that, I say why not and go for it yourself! When it comes to obscure stuff quality isn't the most important thing I'd say.

Urusei Yatsura probably has my number one favorite ost. It had a nice, varied catalog of BGM and insert vocal songs. Whimsical tropic pop is all I can really describe it as, good number of the tracks give off that kind of vibe. Everything else is pleasant orchestral works/ j-pop

Speaking of soundtracks, does anyone know if one was released just for the GE999 film? I can't seem to find anything about one at all.

I haven't found a clear first film soundtrack, but perhaps the songs that are missing from the other stuff available, TV series and Adieu, can be found in the Eternal Edition.

Does anybody know where the heck I can find the OST of The Super Dimension Fortress Macross? I've searched all over the interwebs, but I can't find it. And I'm not talking about the Robotech adaption, I mean the actual music that was being played in the background during the Japanese original.

The only Soundtracks I can find about Macross are filled with the Minmay songs, which isn't bad, but the actual Soundtrack was freaking badass, yet it doesn't seem to have been released on a CD period. Which I really doubt, so I'm just too stupid to find it? I would really appreciate some help in this matter...

Thank you very much, that's exactly what I was looking for. I guess I have to blame my own incompetence that I haven't been able to find such an obvious source myself. I apologize for troubling you with this.

did you like that album i linked you to
"If you tremble with indignation at every injustice, then you are a comrade of mine"

When the union's inspiration through the workers' blood shall run
There can be no power greater anywhere beneath the sun
Yet what force on earth is weaker than the feeble strength of one
For the Union makes us strong

It just barely qualifies as oldschool but anyone know where I can find a good collection of 90s two-mix songs.

No I havn't. I've been without a computer for a while and now it seems like alot of places I used to go are no longer up. What's the URL? Also, I have stuff like Rythem Emotion & White Reflection but songs like Break, Believe, Truth, etc. are a pain to find even on limewire (which I refuse to use anyway because my sister bricked a computer with that stuff). Thanks BTW.

http://bakabt.me/ It's actually a closed tracker, which means you have to maintain a moderate ratio, upload as much as you download. But it's the place where old school anime torrents never, or rarely die, as well as other alternative and rare anime, that usually dies everywhere else. They have a huge selection of hard to find stuff.

I quite like that OST as well... I actually own it. I have the original vinyl: http://collectorsfrenzy.com/Gallery/150716700326.jpg

Not sure if the OST is out there yet, but I'm planning on getting a new record player soon, one with USB support. The OST that I have has every song as far as I know, so in a few months I'll be able to get it out there. I have a number of anime OST vinyls so I'd be able to get some other rare/obscure stuff out there too, this is all assuming I'll be able to get the music off them though. I'm not really sure how that process works, but I know someone who does, so I'll ask him about it.

Also, hello everyone. First time posting here.

Here's the "Complete Works of Zambot 3 & Daitarn 3" OSTs.

@ShinGundam
Hmm well I'm watching Ideon right now and am loving the OST, some of the best stuff I've heard in awhile.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MVztcD8w920

Maybe also check out VOTOMS, Saint Seiya, Hokuto no Ken?

Pretty obvious picks but that stuff is the first thing that came to mind upon seeing "70s and 80s". There's also the Zambot and Daitarn stuff I just posted for 70s stuff.

Does anyone know where I can find the soundtrack to Lupin III - Farewell to Nostradamus? I just watched it and really enjoyed it, and found the music very pleasent, particually the ending credits theme, Ai no Tsuzuki by Iroi Sokagami, is lush, but all the DL links are dead MegaUpload ones, which is annoying me.

Does anyone where have a working link?
