LOL. I actually have more completed manga than on-hold manga, but the stupid manga stats thing makes it seem like I have a grip (though I still have a lot on-hold hehe).
I tend to read a lot of different series at the same time. If it's scanlations, some of them take too long and I have to wait months for a release (therefore on hold since I haven't been reading it). If I'm buying manga, I have to wait until the next release to read the next volume which also takes months, therefore on-hold again.
Very few of them are on-hold just 'cuz I don't feel like reading them right now or I'm on a long break from it. Claymore for example, I'm on a long break. When I return back to it, I'll definitely have a lot to read since it's only released about 1 chapter per month.

True. Actually I only decided to check out the manga 'cuz people kept comparing the anime to the manga (you know how it is).
Well, the Nabari no Ou anime is pretty faithful to the manga except that they kind of made Miharu (main guy character) "weaker" in the anime than in the manga. And the manga is more gory in some parts.
