Logically a platoon cannot survive with 1 tank, one heavy machine gun, 2 light machine guns, 4 rifles and 5 hand guns (assuming all of the members have one assigned on duty). The tank walker here=>
That's why people are speculating that Command doesn't care about defending Sieze and the girls are on a suicide mission. Oh boy will that make fans cry when they get massacred at the end or will it be like that to show how the moe gets killed off? I think it will be a nice stroll of peace to see how happy the girls are in peace time......:/ that might be boring.

"Good Morning!"
"You suck!"
Noel is cute.
Noel has amazing hair/eyes and personality combinations! I love it! You know Noel means Christmas in French right?Mawootad said: Now we know how they're going to start the plot later on. That phone is going to ring, the armistice will end, and cutie breaking will begin. Hopefully. That would be interesting to see at least. southdkotaboy said: Number One don't be surprised if there really is someone still hiding in that barraks.
Second they will get that tank put back together before the end of the show.
Thirdly there will be some sort of probing attack by the enemy which the girls will fight off.
Lastly to touch on something that some have been critical of. Five girls stuck in some run down fort in the middle of nowhere. It does actually make sense in a historical context. If you look at many of the second rate European empires and even some of the main ones, towards the end of the empire or in its twilight you see them stripping down the far off unwanted ends of the empire and replacing them with second or third rate troops. These troops are just there to show the flag.
As an example look at the Falkland Islands. There was a grand total of 80 British soldiers in the entire chain. Most of them stayed in and around the capital of Port Stanley, they even kept most of their weapons in the Governors house.
Before the Panama Canal was built the Falklands had been a major British outpost with a larg Navy base and the troops to match. Fast forward past two World Wars and other stuff and you have 80 men showing the flag. Same with these girls. Long war has run the country to the edge, but they are still trying to keep things under control, hence the girls in the fort. Interesting logic there, still they are rather poorly armed and supplied. I do want to know more about this army that conquered all....Krimson said:
Interesting how all the town names are numbers (in French). I know it's great for a French person to see this....I don't even need subs to understand this at all. viral_hun said:Anyone else noticed this?
It looks like there really was a ghost. Yes and noticed it way before that part....also ghost looks female mostly.

Sure hope it doesn't turn out like Kanata dreamt and they start playing instruments in school uniforms. Not at all friend it just means education was flourishing until war destroyed it completely! ukonkivi said: They just HAD to throw the breast envy thing in there. I'm getting sick of this sort of thing to be honest. She should be worried about getting taller like her "Sempai", not bustier. You never see any height envy in these shows featuring girls/women/females.
At first I had mixed feelings about the stuff, because even though it was promoting that women should have a complex about bust, there would be "status symbol" types as well, and that there would be more flat chested characters to satisfy the need anime has for more of them.
Now it's just getting annoying. Just give some flat chested characters anime studios and let that be that. And introduce more characters who have a complex over being shorter than their fellow female peers. Hey there are some juicy flat ones like Kanata but more Kureha. Noel also might be a little flat. |
