| Ah, too bad this was predictable. From the moment Tonegawa looked at his watch for the first time after Kaiji returned from the bathroom, I knew what he did. I first couldn't believe it but then i was sure. Sucked that I was able to guess this but I still enjoyed the episode. |

| This episode was so goooood! The moment everyone found out Kaiji cut his ear off, I was like "OMFG!" =P It was one of the biggest twists I've seen in a while. |

| Don't tell me he's trying to bait Tonegawa with the blood he spilled on his cards? That would be too obvious. And this episode was too predictable as well, the moment he returned from the bathroom with the towel covering his ear I knew what he had done... and Tonegawa did the same mistake Kaiji was doing thus far, he flaunted the certainty of his victory to the viewer and explained why it was so... aka a 99% indicator that he was going down. One question I have though is this... when did those cripples get Wolverine's healing factor? And another is when did they become Kaiji's friends? |

| I already knew something was wrong when Kaiji held his hand so close to his head (considering a drill was next to his ear he couldn't have held his hand so close to his head) but ripping of his own ear! Kaiji is insane. This anime is definitely going to become one of my favorites if it keeps being this good and continue to amaze me. |

Someone kill this old faggot pls. How does wagering 18mm mean 'death' for Kaiji when his ear is destroyed though? Even if they plant the device on his right ear 18mm will not destroy the ear. |

| Kaiji is a badass who gives no fucks except. It didn't surprise me that he cut off his own ear since it seemed obvious but what did surprise me was that the guy in the bathroom was holding it. | HOLY SHIT KAIJI, THAT WAS SO FUCKING AWESOME AND BRILLANT. NOW GO, DESTROY THE LITTLE BIT OF HOPE TONEGAWA HAVE LEFT. All in all, the craziest one in the room is definitely that whole man. What was fun to see was the men in suit reaction, all being utterly disgusted by the situation. Like if they were all saying to themselves : ''Why the fuck am I here?'' I'm a little bit worried though. Kaiji plan seem to obvious to really be a plan. I don't think expert in cheating would be bluffed by marked cards. Even more, he marked two of them, so it will be complicated to know which one is the King and which one is the Citizen. |

| He actually didn't think that smashing his head against a broken mirror was enough and even had the guts to cut his ear off to do such a cunning strategy omg.That is dedication from a man who has nothing to lose and it's both terrifying and impressive at the same time. All that blood loss must have made him gone coo coo to bet another 18 mm of his life. I hope his strategy works out. |
