What brings you to 'Merica? :) Yeah, I heard about LL! Sunshine, and I submitted a name suggestion for it ("daffodil"), even got a friend to help translate my reason into Japanese ("representing the flowering 開花 of youth 青春" basically). They should have chose mine as a finalist ;), because the names up for a vote were pretty cringeworthy ("Orange'squash"), and the best one ("Soleil") was already used in a different idol anime… Well, some of the seiyuus for it look pretty cool, but they probably can't be as good as μ's. (Also looking forward to seeing the LL! movie on that topic.)

Anyway, there's a lot I've been up to I could talk about, but I'll just say I'm slowly progressing through Mobile Suit Gundam, reading the Origin manga and watching the recap movies just to get some feel for how the animation looked. (Maybe I'll watch some individual arcs or episodes from the anime if you recommend them, but I understand most of the story is in the manga with pretty minor differences.) I've said it before, but that manga is a masterpiece, especially the color art. Yoshikazu is a mangaka like none other. Plus, it's said he never sketches in pencil and never erases!

Apparently, some of the Love Live! seiyuus (Pile, maybe with Aina as Please&Secret?) are having live concerts in Taiwan next year? Have you heard about it, and you going? I mean, I'll probably never get to see them live.

Also, have you been keeping up with all the Love Live! releases, and the seiyuus' solo releases? Pile just released a single, "伝説のFLARE", and Please&Secret will be releasing one soon. The μ's mini units are releasing two singles each this year. Yes, it's a great time to be a fan.

Love Live!'s been going on for five years in total, so you'd expect some VAs to be ready to move on. Even with Idolm@ster, they're moving away from the original characters in the games and probably had their last anime appearance in the movie this year. Maybe Love Live! could copy them and get VAs for and start games around the "N" girls, even an anime as Im@s is doing soon with Cinderella Girls.
Well, it's fun. Some of my favorites "Yume no Tobira", "Unbalanced Love", "Happy Maker" and so on are pretty easy to sing too.

Heh, I'm pretty busy too. Not going to watch much anime soon. I'll probably check out Hanayamata eventually, but before that I want to check out the other idol anime series like Wake Up Girls! and Locodol, now that Love Live! and the main Idolm@ster are coming to an end. I don’t know how good it is but Locodol has Emitsun and Aina in supporting roles, and some new VAs I liked in Girls und Panzer in the main roles.

Kind of a random question, but have you ever sung Love Live! songs at karaoke? The other week, I went to an anime karaoke night for the first time, and one of the songs I sang was “Bokura wa Ima no Naka de”. The people who could tell it was an idol anime song was pretty amused, since I’m a guy with a pretty deep voice, but I had fun and I guess I’m pretty good at it.

I know, Emi Nitta stands out in the same way Honoka does. None of the other seiyuus in Love Live are so like their character!

You know, Secret-chan is Aina Kusuda (Nozomi). And I love their songs, Pile is phenomenal in them! Also on YouTube, you can find some "mini lives" they did, and Pile is super cute in them.

Pile also has a duo with Riho Iida (Rin), called 4to6, and she's got solo releases planned.

:D Yeah, Honoka definitely is the girl to cheer you up! I mean, wow, the lyrics to your two favorites are touching. In some ways she's more of an idol than the rest, even BiBi members, since she make you smile with her charisma so much.

And yeah, that's kinda what Maki's good at, being hot, dynamic: same in "Darling!!", "Cutie Panther", and "Wild Stars". Well, Maki's my favorite, but there are whole lot of great μ's girls, like Hanayo too. Also, have you been keeping up with the seiyuus' releases outside Love Live? Some of them are pretty amazing, and they'll all have a lot more to come since they're so popular now. I just found out about Emi-san's first release, "Egao to Egao de Hajimaru yo".

I think I'll check out the original Gundam anime or the movies first (and I'm definitely looking forward to the Origin adaptation). I'm curious what you think of all the spin offs though? Any with good stories?

Hi! I see you're a Gundam fan, and I'm just getting into Gundam through the "Origin" manga (which is a masterpiece!). Which versions of the anime do you think are most worth watching?

Also, looks like you might like Honoka-chan a little ;) I'm rather fond of her too. "Someday of my life" :D
