| Due to performance issues, we've recently disabled our statistics and signature updating scripts. Lag/slowness around MAL should be noticeably less since this change went live yesterday. I hope to have them re-enabled within a few days, but I'm not able to give an exact date yet. I apologize for the inconvenience. |

| Is this in any connection to the recent bugs within the stats? And what exactly is disabled with that? Is it everything under Statistics on the left side, so Score, Rank, Popularity, Members, Favorites? Or only the score? Is everything under /stats untoched by that? :/ |

| I found a way to remedy the problem of your signature updates (it works for me and you can do this if you really want to show friends your progression): _Update your anime/manga progress _Go to edit profile->My signature->Update Signature (you don't need to change any of your previous settings) It will not update right away so be patient. Try hitting update several times if there is no change. I guess this is the manual entry that works the same way as the disabled codes Thank you admin for your hard work! |

Still, I think the keyword search is more important than the user search because it (hopefully) reduces the occurrences of noobs making duplicate threads. |
