Synopsis

The setting is a Japanese looking village named `Little Tokyo' where the Pizza Cats run a pizza fastfood business. Little Tokyo is populated by all kinds of animals. The official governor of the town is the Emperor, but since he has gone bananas a council takes care of the well-being of the village. One of the members of this council is called Seymour "Big" Cheese, who secretly wishes to take over control of the village. The pizza take away restaurant is merely a cover for their true job... Whenever evil is afoot, the Pizza Cats are launched towards the danger from the gun-lookalike clock tower that emerges from the top of their restaurant.

I don't remember much about this series at all, but I remember that it was the first anime that I ever saw, and liked. It's also what got me into anime in the first place, so it's always special to me. :). I remember rushing home to see this every day after school, and was disappointed if I didn't make it in time. And I was even more disappointed when it was canceled.
Anyway, I remember it being a fun series that had decent art(for the time), and was always enjoyable. If you can find it, I definitely recommend watching an episode yourself, or showing read more

This is a classic to me, i think it was the first anime i ever saw, and has also been the one that got me into watching more anime later on.
i think ive been no more than 7 or 8 years old back when it aired on german tv-station RTL+. Every saturday and sunday morning i and my younger siblings would get up very early to watch this anime when it was on.
I later on bought a DVD with this series but was disappointed in it not being possible to get more than one with them.
its an anime i will always hold dear, and if read more

Both are parodies of many thing - anime, music, films and pretty much everything else, both have simple plot and feature slapstick humour. But Bobobo is much more absurd.
