so happy to see Kaoru Hana get a lot of love

in the other hand i will never understand why people love a basic boring generic fantasy like Sousou no Frieren

@Zedlin Judging by the citations and inclusion in various manga competitions, this is a fairly popular sports shonen at the moment. The other thing is, I also know quite a little about it directly.

Ara, congrats to Kaoru Hana wa Rin no Saku, it's such a sweet and wholesome manga. I guess I should re-read it once again ^.^

Medalist absolutely deserved this win. Great manga, super excited for the anime in January--they got Juuki Hanada on board for series Comp and he pretty consistently puts out high quality adaptations.

Congratulations to the winners. I heard many good things about Medalist.

Heh, I wonder how would Sousou no Frieren fans, who have been claiming that said series is not a shounen series, react to this info about Sousou no Frieren winning the Shounen award. ;D

Congrats Frieren. Waiting for the anime adaptation of 'The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity'.

If last year almost all the works had an anime/announced adaptation, then this time there are only 4 of them out of 15 titles. I wonder if "Kimi no Yokogao wo Miteita" has a chance of getting an anime adaptation in the near future, considering that its synopsis sounds like a typical plot of a popular teen dorama and the winners in other categories have already received an anime.
