Welcome to my page! I watch and adore anime from childhood, so in 2012 I immediately started this page when I found out about this site. I'm open to completely different anime, however, I prefer to watch school shonens, paranormal stories, fantasy, romantic dramas and military science fiction, as these genres have been my favorite since childhood.

Many old or over-hyped animes that I added to the list after 2016, I have already watched in the past, but it was so long ago that I had to add them to the list only after re-watching, otherwise I couldn't properly rated them or even be sure that I ever watched them and finished at all. The reason for this is that I just almost didn't watched anime between 2012 and 2016, having completed only 2-3 TV shows during this time.

Nevertheless, as a big fan of White Fox, KyoAni and P.A.Works, and the authors Mari Okada, Gen Urobuchi and Jun Maeda, I try to follow any their adaptations and original projects, regardless of genre and themes. I also love yuri and yuri-ish themes, so how do I like Class S aesthetics and melodramatized girl's friendship\love. Nevertheless, I am very selective in this matter and prefer to ignore fake yuri or yuri goggles.

I did find you profile while casually browsing on a forum post in Koisuru (Otome) no Tsukurikata, and even though I didn't watched it yet, the Air picture you use sparked my attention. I find some old visual novel adaptions to anime, like Clannad and ef, really enticing and I'm 'saving' Air to watch at some auspicious time. I also feel your profile discretion really relatable! The year of joining Mal and the proximity of the days watching anime are a funny coincidence too.

Yeah... It's probably the most forced couple Takahashi ever wrote. Even Inaba didn't feel so forced and he had only 2 stories like Nagisa. The difference is that he was written well.

I also saw the defense from some strange people that Ataru is a much worse person than Nagisa and he's not hated and somehow that's hypocritical. I don't think this defense makes sense because Ataru is not a person who should be respected for his skirt-chasing. But more so for his good and kinder side. And he always gets punished whenever he acts like a jackass. Meanwhile, Nagisa gets almost rewarded for it. It makes no sense. People might've changed their minds on Nagisa if he got more character development. But that never happened.

Oh I was only thinking in the Japan side of it actually, don't follow much it's doing overseas. For example Jellyfish getting 40k tweets while the episodes are airing, while Lyco and G-Witch were getting over 200k tweets, which is insane.
Well for Witch from Mercury it's not a fair comparison since just by having Gundam in the name every japanese will be instantly interested but for Lycoris Recoil it blows my mind as a completely original anime..

Sure, that scene and the Mahiru weird dance GIF trended really hard and helped increasing the follows, but it doesn't come any close to what that meme did to Lycoris...
Seriously, after this video , youtube twitter tiktok all became a variation of that, swapping the last part with something. Even normies that don't watch anime started following it

And it is working wonders, I'm honestly surprised it hasn't grown as much as these 2 tho. I guess people are more interested in crazy gun fights or giant robots fighting, along with it.

It's missing this one scene that will make it explode in popularity like Lycoris' garden eel meme... it makes me curious how much more viewership/followers they got after this, since I wasn't following their twitter while airing

Yeah it is rushed, maybe they thought the viewers would be tired of the same formula it had for Kumiko's 1st and 2nd year and are only focusing in her character development but I see a lot of people disappointed by that in both overseas and Japan side.

Same problem as Jellyfish huh, taking breaks is good if you feel you are not in the mood. Have fun with it when it's the time

This new Hibike season has been a disappointment to me honestly, I love its drama and characters but what I like the most is seeing the fruits of their practice shown in the tournaments. And this season is basically skipping everything, it's completely dry on performances... At least the drama is the best one so far in my opnion, you have this uneasiness feeling throught all the episodes
Seems your next is second season so you're in for a treat, it's my favorite one.
