Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! 3

Kazuma Satou, former NEET and current reincarnated adventurer, finally returns home after the incident at the Crimson Demon village. He is joined by his ever-reliable companions: self-absorbed goddess Aqua, one-trick pony arch-wizard Megumin, and masochistic crusader Lalatina Ford "Darkness" Dustiness. Following their recent exploits, the party is one step closer to vanquishing the Demon King and his armies—a terrifying task that Kazuma is eager to ignore for as long as possible. Things, however, are not going as smoothly as the group would like; they are constantly racking up debt, getting sidetracked during missions, and falling into traps due to their recklessness and eccentricities.

As the party struggles with their perennial issues, they receive an invitation from a princess interested in hearing tales of the group's "heroic" deeds. Darkness' pleas to refuse the invitation only fire the others up to accept it, marking the start of yet another uncanny adventure with unforeseen consequences.

If you watched s1 and s2 or you're just debating on checking this out, i'd say YES do watch it.
I've said all i want to but they want me to keep writing...ummm
The animation does add to the comedy and of all the three seasons this is my second best, the first season still takes the crown
The show is still ongoing as i'm writing this also but yh just watch it and have a good laugh also if your sense of humor is too "advanced" then just skip this one, the show doesn't take itself seriously....alright yapping completed

Mixed Feelings

Preliminary (6/11 eps)

"Honk...mimimimi. Honk...mimimimi." That's what you'll sound like as you inevitably fall asleep watching Konosuba 3. Yep, that's right, it's a big ol' snooooooze fest. Now I've never been a huge proponent of the show (gave season one and two a 6 and 7 respectively), but this season is falling flatter than Megumin. Yeah yeah, I know. The joke is low-hanging fruit, but that's exactly the reason I made it: to illustrate the fact that Konosuba's already trite and obvious gags have gone way past stale. In other words, it's time the show hangs em up.

Given that comedy is all that Konosuba consists of, said comedy ... needs to be good for the show to be anything less than a flop. Well have I got news for you: it's not good. In fact, it's pretty fucking shit-tastic. The comedy is a carbon copy of the previous two seasons, meaning it can't possibly be any better, only worse. Why? Diminishing marginal utility. Think about it: the first cookie you eat is an orgasmic experience. It sticks with you, it's riveting. A hypothetical second cookie, while still good, will never be as good as that first orgasmic cookie. At some point, let's say fifteen cookies down the line, you get to the point where you're sick of the taste, and you decide it's no longer worth eating that sixteenth cookie (assuming you're not a glutton). Or, if the cookie example doesn't resonate with you, think back to your first time shooting heroin. Has any high since recaptured the experience of the first? This is basic economics, people.

The same applies to Konosuba. The first Konosuba is good, the second is fine, but the third passes the point of being worth watching. By this point, the 2D characters (literally everyone is static) and inconsistent comedy sours to a point of being inedible. This is not to mention the nonexistent plot and uber-generic setting that do nothing to cushion the blow the show receives from the ever-weakening comedy. Given all this, I think it's best the show retires. Let it die a somewhat honorable death.

What i liked about Konosuba previous seasons was that it's funny without needing to be like every other comedic anime. You know the generic jokes, the overly degenerate dumb protagonist and the usual fan service.

Of course konosuba had some of that but it was made in a clever way i'd say, where it's wasn't too much.

so... then it became like every other comedic anime.

Kazuma was an asshole but at least he was kinda realistic and you could maybe understand why he behaved like he behaved, now he's just a pervert and and an idiot. you can reduce this season's jokes to boobs, sex, ... degeneracy and all that... surely i've never seen that before hehehe... dissapointing. welp it was good while it lasted, pack it up people.
