Yup same here. I know the manga is getting, (or just got), an epilogue chapter too so curious if the anime will adapt that at the end of its season.

It is and I like the pacing more in the manga so far. Anime jumped around a lot so I'm hoping this new one will fill in a lot of the gaps. But yeah I could see this going on my favorites by the end.

Oh that sounds really neat. Definitely on my to do list for sure. Right now I want to read all of horimiya since the new anime is coming out.

Yup I will be watching all those shows for sure as well hehe. I’ve been starting to read the Horimiya manga and really enjoy it so far. How is the Sousou no Frienen manga?

Yup, totally agree. And I hope that the movie will lead into a season 2! I want to check out the manga as well.

Yeah the director was new too with Bocchi and I loved all of the eccentric moments, (like the stop motion scene with the sports festival and the boats scene). Don't get me wrong, I still like K-on but felt like the comedy could have been stronger at times.

Yes yes. I can’t believe I’m saying this from how I felt 10 years ago versus how I feel now but Bocchi > Kon imo.

Yeah Kannagi was alright but if we are going back to that era, the successor to Lucky Stars was K-on for sure. I remember when that was becoming popular and you couldn't escape the song, "Don't Say Lazy," lol.

Yup both that and Haruhi were huge at the time. The first 4 episodes of Lucky Star were actually directed by someone else, but the fans thought they were boring so he was canned. It was a big controversy back in the day but you will probably notice a shift in the comedy after the first 4 episodes. The canned director then went on to do Kannagi: Crazy Shrine Maidens.

Oh my goodness I don’t know how you did it! And yeah the novels for Haruhi completed awhile ago but I haven’t had a chance to read them all myself. Speaking of anime around that time, have you watched Lucky Star yet?
