Gintama has been pretty good so far. Haven't really felt compelled to binge it yet but we'll see what happens when I get to an actual arc :)

Yeah, like I said, saying anything really about the end of Part 6 would be a big spoiler, which is where said controversy stems from. I've always found it interesting how Japan favors part 5 but the west absolutely loves Parts 4 and 7 and to an extent, 6. I think if DavidPro continues, the sales from Part 5 will be an indicator of whether or not Part 6, and by extension, 7 will be animated.

There were some great moments skipped over by Bamco that were pretty hilarious from the unadapted chapters, but they just wanted to move into the serious/overarching plot of Gintama quicker, which I don't blame them all too much, SA and FS are incredible arcs.

But yes, one more year of Gintama would definitely be worth and I'm ready for it.

I think I'll enjoy Mono SS so I'm really looking forward to it. Good to konw about YYH too!

I get what you mean about waiting for Gintama though. As for Jojo, I'm fairly certain DavidProductions will adapt every part, even those beyond 6, though telling you why people would think the anime would stop at 6 would be massive spoiler territory, so I don't really think you'll have to worry about that, DavidPro puts a massive amount of love into Jojo adaptations so I'm thinking they'll see it through to its end.

I don't think they'll end up adapting all of Gintama, but that's just because they skipped ~10-15 chapters in Gintama 2015 to get to the SA and FS arcs faster, though many of us are thinking that the final season will adapt the final two serious arcs, the first of which is double the length of FS, and the second one is still ongoing. The final season could probably end up being 3-4 cours just for these two arcs, which would be so fucking hype.

Your favorites are great, though I still need to watch of Monogatari SS and EVA, and get further into YYH, which I watched the first episode of, and absolutely loved! The dub for it is great, so I'm looking forward to getting into it.

After I caught up with Gintama I actually went and caught up with the manga as soon as I finished episode 316, and then the new season was announced a week later, so I'm sure you could imagine my hype. I don't know if you plan on waiting or not or the anime but if you're on the fence at all I would definitely recommend reading it, there are some awesome/amazingly-drawn scenes in there and the next arc after FS is awesome!

No problem on the FR, always open to making new friends, especially if it's somebody with as great taste as yours!
