How I Score Shit:
My ratings are more or less an amalgamation of how much I'm able to appreciate an anime as a piece of art, and how much enjoyment I got out of it. If I could single one aspect out, I'd definitely say that I appreciate well-written and/or very likable characters more than anything else, though a fantastic story/narrative can certainly bring my enjoyment up (e.g. Shinsekai Yori). Here's a breakdown of my scores.

10: I only allow myself to give 10/10s to my Top 10 anime (which can be seen down below in my Favorites), though being in my Top 10 does not guarantee that every entry of a series will be a 10/10 (for example, Gintama and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure). For these series, if they have multiple seasons, my favorite season is the one to represent the series in my Favorites. The only exception to this rule is and always will be Kara no Kyoukai 5.
9: Either stuff that used to be in my Favorites or is barely missing something which prevents it from being one of my Favorites.
7-8: Stuff that I generally really enjoyed but didn't wow me enough to be a 9 or 10.
5-6: As the numbers would suggest, stuff that I personally find average at best. Some aspects I enjoyed but others may have either pissed me off or lost my interest entirely.
2-4: It's pretty hard to find yourself in this range, I'm not hard to please so if you're in this range you're doing something terribly wrong.
