I totally agree with you about Tyson Rinehart. If he did this in Japan, defy his elder, he'd be fired and maybe even exiled if he worked for a foreign sector of an anime branch.
I'm from an Eastern background too and this defiance and "tongue in cheek" humor is not at all in any way how you go about things. I respect everyone, but this guy crossed the line.
Yeah. I guess in order to get to stuff like Nagi-Asu and Hanasaku Iroha, we'll have to sit through things like Charlotte and Red Data Girl every once in a while.

All I want to say is that your review on Charlotte is so skewed so much that it shouldn't even be there. You are too bias on your own "type of genre/type" and you should never post another rec.

Finally somebody realizing the disappointment Charlotte is. It pains me to even call it that since I'm a big Jun Maeda fan, but I don't make a habit of putting on a blindfold when things are just bad. Charlotte never reached the level of potential that it could have managed to get. Never got invested in the characters in any way either. 100% agreed with your review!
Same here. I really thought you did a very good job with explaining how Charlotte went from good to eh?. As I was reading your review, I am thinking to myself "Is this guy really that serious? This has got to be a very comprehensive anime review?!".
Sure. I am also going to lament my unwarranted expectation that this one could at least bring manly tears in me. Heck, it ended with me having a face like this: -_-
