i guess that means you aren't a very big fan of his son's work LOL
nono i definitely agree. if the main character is unlikeable it just kills the entire anime for me as well.
even if the rest of the show is good, it just turns it into a "watch with brain off" type of show.
i hope you can figure everything out! it's a pretty big decision trying to figure out what university and program you want to go into.

i've heard of From up on Poppy Hill but never watched it! i think the only ghibli film i've watched is Ponyo... o-o

i've just been watching a few seasonals here and there. demon slayer, hell's paradise, dr. stone, and heavenly delusion.
im also slowly watching great teacher onizuka which has been pretty enjoyable so far!
are you planning to watch oshi no ko?

It doesn't seem bad, just the writing style didn't click with me, but story seems like it could be quite interesting so i'll give the anime a shot

oh no :( i had a really bad teacher in gr10 who pretty much killed any interest that i had in the sciences lol
