That's a difficult question. I love St. Vincent's uniqueness. I'd say you may enjoy Angel Olsen, Mitski, PJ Harvey, Florence + The Machine, and Sharon van Etten. Anna Calvi's "Piece by Piece" also reminds me of some songs off Actor, and you may enjoy her other material.

Although the production of the 2006 version of Kanon was better, it also ran for almost twice the number of episodes. The 2002 version managed to tell a compact and neat story in comparison to the 2006 version - which dragged things along and spent too much time wallowing in its own drama.
Of people under 30, like 75 to 80% are teachers. It can be fun from what I see, but most people come here and dip in a year because they realize Japan isn't a fairy tale, it's more corporate than working at McDonalds doing OT for free.
