My name is Yvy, I’m an anime watcher since December 2014. I’m always happy to discuss anime or manga so feel free to talk to me whenever you want, sometimes I take a bit longer to reply because I tend to be on exams a lot or because of random life stuff T^T but rest assure I will eventually reply. I’m up to either serious anime related discussions or just the casual fangirling but do forgive me if I sometimes lack of chitchat abilities^^.
I really admire and respect seiyuus, Im very passionate about their amazing work, I seriously could talk about them ALL DAY, if you are into them, then you are already awesome in my eyes XD. My top 5 are: Fukuyama Jun, Sakurai Takahiro, Kamiya Hiroshi, Okamoto Nobuhiko and Kaji Yuki. PS. Always eager to discover new anime or manga so your recommendations are most welcome. Also if you have any question or opinion regarding an anime I watched or my tags please don’t be shy and ask away^^
I take into consideration almost the same as everyone and my percentages are as follow: 30%Characters, 25% plot, 20% enjoyment 12% animation, 8% seiyuus and 5% sound. Yes, I give more weight to characters than plot because if I don’t feel interested or attached to them I wont be much interested in the story. For me, character development is one of the most important things in anime. Also enjoyment has a high percentage, this is one of the reasons I believe Im more of a casual anime fan than a critical expert, many times I’m biased and rate an anime higher than it deserves because I loved it or rate it lower because I didn’t like it, that’s how it works and I wont lie regarding my personal preferences although I try to be the most neutral as possible^^. Because I respect and admire seiyuus so much is natural that I will take them into consideration while scoring. In the end our rating and enjoyment of anime is influenced by our culture, life experience, personal preference and current mood so I respect your way of rating and I hope you respect mine^^ if anyone wants to discuss this with me feel free :D :D Opinions of fellow anime fans are always very valuable to me ^_^ 10= Masterpiece, outstanding or unbelievably awesome. An anime that made a BIG impression on me with wonderful characters that I most likely will take forever in my heart. 9= Excellent series that is well presented with good storyline and memorable cast of characters, and which I enjoyed watching. Minor flaws. 8= Great series with amazing memorable characters. I may have just some little issues with it. I tend to recommend series from this score and above. 7= Good enjoyable series but with a considerable amount of flaws. I recommend this type of series with caution. Series with an ok plot and/or characters. 6=Average series. Watchable but not memorable and from this score and below series you could totally skip. There are some I enjoyed and others I didn’t. 5-1= Honestly pretty pointless for me to explain these ones, if a series has this score means I didn’t like it at all and isn’t worth your time, these scores are more likely in series I dropped because I couldn’t endure them any more.
