Hey bro,

Just wanted to keep up with you. How are you doing? How's 2022 for you so far?

I'm doing alright bro. Just been all over the place with real-life doings. Lots of things have happened, but mans is still outchea kicking, so that has to count for something, I guess. Haha, with your last message, has there been any change for you with gaming and watching anime/reading comics? I recently got a new laptop, so I'm a bit conflicted on games to install. It's not so powerful, but it's alright. I haven't been keeping up with video games for a long time now, so I don't know what's what. Suggestions?

I've actually started getting back into reading comics generally. I've updated my stuffs a lot lately. I recently reread, finished or caught up with
1) Girls of the Wild's.
2) The God of High School.
3) Hoankan Evans no Uso: Dead or Love.
4) Superior Day.
5) Legendary Moonlight Sculptor (currently on this).

I have these downloaded, I'll eventually read them too,
6) S.I.D (Supernatural Investigation Department).
7) Tomb Raider King.
8) Noblesse.
9) Ajin.
10) Jisatsutou.
11) Golden Kamuy.
12) Dark Air.

I've also been reading web novels a lot in recent years. I'm currently reading End of the Magic Era, fucking 1400 chapters at least. I'm almost done though. Aside from that, I've been watching a few movies here and there. Although, movies are slow as hell. I can't even remember when last I properly sat down to watch an anime or TV show. Concerning XXJ, I haven't read it anymore since I caught up to the latest chapter at the time we last talked about it. I've left it to keep stacking up!!! I eventually reread Feng Shen Ji at that time and it was epic again. I might be tempted to reread it again this year. I don't know. But, I am like you concerning XXJ compared to FSJ. FSJ is way more action-oriented and fast-paced. Although, XXJ, to me, is a more layered story. It's slower-paced, and a lot of characters get fleshed out even more so than how characters were fleshed out in FSJ. I do see it actually lasting longer than FSJ unless something unexpected happens. Since I've been reading a lot of Chinese-related web novels, should I say I have quite the grasp on the Journey of the West story and some characters in the lore, so it's interesting to see how the author executes it through XXJ? Ah well, that's a whole different discussion to dive into.

Yo, what's up bro?! How you doing? We haven't conversed according to our history for 3yrs now. Holy shit. Well, I just started and caught up to the latest chapter of Xi Xing Ji a few days ago. I started rereading Feng Shen Ji again, I'm trying to finish up the 3rd season of Feng Shen Ji currently though. You're the only one on MAL I know that likes FSJ as much as I do haha. What are your thoughts on Xi Xing Ji compared to Feng Shen Ji?

Can you watch the anime “Karas” which is 6eps that are 30 minutes long and make a review, since I really like the way you write you’re reviews?
Volcan1 May 9, 2020 7:25 PM
Currently reading Feng Shen Ji thanks to your profile, out of curiosity which of the three volumes is your favorite? The second volume for me fell a little short compared to the first as I expected more out of the war against the Gods & Tian. I'm interested in your opinion and if it could change my view of the series.

I see you've watched kizumonotagari before bakemonogatari, usually people start with bakemonogatari but this is not a bad sarting point for the monogatari series.
I highly advise you to check bakemonogatari since you like the movies and then the other entries of monogatari series if that's not what you were already planning to do .
othewise nice review.

To be honest. I never wanted to download Civilization V. It was a friend of mine who suggested it when he saw me trying to download Age of Empires on my PC at school. Unfortunately, over here, the internet at our homes are shitty compared to the university internet, so most people tend to do all their personal downloads at uni. I didn't even hesitate to download it and install. It was as if he bewitched me at that moment, I opened it the day I installed it and I never did after that. I'll try it again once I'm on holidays. If I ain't feeling it, I'm uninstalling that bitch!!! My easiest game to play on my PC is still Dynasty Warriors 8. It's unfortunate about DW 9 though, I was anticipating it being open world and all once I knew about it last year. Once it was released, I made sure to keep up with videos and reactions from players on it. I wasn't impressed at all. Another game I'll always find easy to play on my PC is Football Manager 2008, I do have the 2017 version, but I ain't into it at all. 2008 version is my best. That's about it for games with me. The only game I play more than all games on my PC is Free Cell on my iPad lol. I'm addicted to that shit fam! Don't judge me. All the games you listed, I do not know of to be honest. I ain't that much a fan of games. I don't know what turn-based games are, I don't really want to either, I already know I'd dislike them. For Final Fantasy, I haven't really watched the game play itself much, I haven't played any either. My experience on Final Fantasy in general is more on the cut scenes from different parts of the game made into movies (and I just watch that), the different anime and my interest in reading about very few characters (only Sephiroth to be honest).

For comics in general, I believe Hunter x Hunter is shit, I don't read that. One Piece is shit, I don't care for that. Boku no Hero is for amateur kids to me. I'd suggest you read these manhwas:
https://myanimelist.net/manga/64087/Afterschool_War_Activities
https://myanimelist.net/manga/30079/Annarasumanara
https://myanimelist.net/manga/103293/Dokgo
https://myanimelist.net/manga/16166/Ruler_of_the_Land
https://myanimelist.net/manga/10685/Yongbi_Bulpae
Let me know if you want more.

I am actually surprised you're not on Yongbi Bulpae and Ruler of the Land as a fan of Feng Shen Ji and Xi Xing Ji.

For mangas, Berserk is the homie, you good with me on that. JoJo is trash, I'll skip. KINGDOM!! RAWRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!! WHY HAVEN'T YOU READ HOLYLAND, SHIGURUI, GANTZ AND BATTLE ROYALE ALREADY?!!! READ THOSE SHITS ASAP!!! They're way better than all the Boku no Pico kid manga about superheroes what not (Boku no Hero Academia), the jungle hunting bullshit manga (Hunter x Hunter) and some stupid idiotic pirate manga (One Piece). Bro, because of how long it takes City of Darkness to update, I'd suggest you read it and be done with it. There are other comics to focus on, so you'll forget about how you missing City of Darkness. Read it bro, READ IT!!!!

Since Xi Xing Ji updates quite normally, I'll leave it for now. I'll reconsider starting it when I've seen it has like 50 chapters out. I sincerely hope it becomes a really long going series like FSJ. I don't want no short story/chapters shit with it. Are you informed on it with the raws? Do you know how many chapters of the raws there are?

Raging_Berserker Feb 26, 2018 4:46 PM
Yo! I just finally got to read your reply, I must have missed it somehow. Sorry for that bruh!! Happy belated New Year even though this came late. How are you fam?

On games, ever since I resumed my undergraduate degree, I haven't had time for them. I don't mess with my iPad much either. After resumption in September last year, I didn't have time for anything concerning myself really. After some persuasion from my new friends, I finally updated my Win 8 OS to Win 10 OS. It pains me to say 90% of all my software and games were lost, FUCK!!!! Anyway, now I've installed the apps I need and some of my old games. I have Civilisation V now, finally decided to install that. I ain't played it yet though, probably during my next holiday. Are you into Strategy games?

Concerning mangas, I'm as unpredictable as always. I'm currently binge reading Freezing. I've always avoided that manga, not big of a fan of it. The only reason I started the manga is because my elder brother (that got me into anime) is a fan of it. I'm still contemplating if I'm gonna watch the anime after catching up to the latest chapter. I happen to have downloaded them all offline, so I can take as much time as I want. I'm actually quite impressed with Freezing so far, it's better than I thought it would be. It reminds me a lot of World Trigger (I don't know if you've read this, but if you haven't, you should).

I happen to have downloaded the complete Blade of the Immortal manga as well. I'll read that when I'm done with Freezing most definitely.

Yo!! I remember back when I just resumed, I started reading Kingdom. Luckily, it was before we started any serious work at uni. I made sure to stop at the chapter it says on myanimelist account! I didn't wanna catch up to the latest chapter (that's the same thing I did with Vinland Saga). I got nothing to tell ya concerning One Piece and Boku no Hero Academia, but I will agree that there's so many many mangas out there. The more you explore, the more you discover tons and tons of great stuff out there. I'm discovering a lot of them right now man.

Bro, I don't know what to tell you concerning City of Darkness. I'd recommend any one to read it in a heartbeat, but once they catch up to the latest chapter, *sigh* it's..... You know how it goes, it's one of those comics that updates like once every 1 - 2 years. Still read it though, it's mad awesome. What you up to nowadays? I wanted to say more on Panlong and the others, but I'll leave it be since I didn't reply in months, I'm basing my reply around that time. I don't know what you've decided to do after all this time, keep me posted!!! I got some discoveries to spill if you interested!!!

How's it going generally man? How were the Miyazaki movies?
