What you're trying to say is, in season one they had aspects of these characteristics already so why would it bother me in season 2?

Answer. The word "aspects". it was PART of their personality not the entirety of it. The animation of season 1 was also better in an adult way. You mentioned it yourself. Emi looked at Chiho and felt self conscious. Rather than the camera zooming in on that character's chest you got a burger gag to hint at it and laugh.

That's funny, that's smart. Way smarter than flapping your hands arounds and screaming "you ugo! you flat! nea nea nea!" It's also all the little interactions taking place within the same shot, people react to each other while here they go into screensaver mode until two people finish talking to save on the animation budget.

Why is that review the most popular on the anime page at the moment? Who even cares, instead of arguing (mostly with yourself considering that comment) take a step back and consider why other's opinions matter so much to you.

yeah i get that, monogatari series is really hard to get into, and i understand of people who don't enjoy it like i did. I like your list, part 4 is the best animated part and i'm watching monster rn I fcking love it but i want to see hype around tenma and johan as soon as possible :))
