Do you read books? Visual novels are pretty much books with pictures (though it depends, the majority of them are, but some VNs have a relatively extensive gameplay if I know correctly; Danganronpa is one of them)
Interesting, you don't believe in making online friends?
Hm, interesting, I wonder if that's true
it's normal here, lol.
Wow, cool! I love how Georgia doesn't give fuck about Russia like Armenia and Azerbaijan do (they use Russian social media, though at least Azerbaijan also uses Facebook).
So, is it okay if we move our conversations there?
Wait, is it normal in Georgia to use Facebook as the main social media / messenger platform?
What other chatting platforms do you use other than MAL then?
That's great! Good job!
Perfet blue is actually not that hard to understand
Yeah, I mostly agree, the hard part of Perfect Blue is to understand and sort out what scenes were real, what scenes were not, who (the MC or not) actually was participating in the real scenes.
directing is kool af, nice imaginary, had pretty kool themes too
100%
only anime that creeped me out
I can totally understand why
I guess i'm burned out because I can't stand japanese anymore
bruh
I don't think paranoia agent was intellectual
Yeah, I think Satoshi Kon's works are not super intellectual (Perfect Blue is maybe by far the most intellectual one), it's more like his directing makes the story convoluted (I don't think that's a bad thing at all, I love to think, after all), his works are way more accesible to wider audiences than Lain or Mamoru Oshii's works, for example.
It seems you approach Paranoia Agent and other avant-garde, intellectual anime the same way you approach "normal" anime. Like, you're looking for a story to be told, for characters to get attached to, for the plot to hook you. But non-conventional art, anime in our case, generally doesn't follow the usual path and if it does, it does it in a completely different way. So maybe you need to change your mindset or smth when watching that kind of anime? Interestingly enough, you did like Perfect Blue and fucking Lain (I'm still surprised you liked them, especially Lain). Why do you think you like them while generally not liking that kind of anime?
And your words about Elfen Lied and your recent ratings look like you're burnt out :( Everything seems boring, you don't care for any characters. I have experienced this before quite a lot of times, though my burnouts were way shorter than yours. Maybe you should try like extremely plot-driven stuff? But again, I presume if one doesn't care about the characters, one won't really care about the story, about the stuff that's happening to those characters.
i will remain silent now
i have habit seeking attention on internet. because i have no friends
bruh
