Just your average 24 year old shut-in, a disabled proud Halfu. I do things sometimes. Bear in mind that I rate based off of subjective experiences, rather than critically. I honestly just watch anime to feel; isn't that we're supposed to do? I don't drop anime, no matter how bad it may be. Everything has a chance to be good, and I like to try to see that in them, and people worked hard on each and every one. Who am I to disrespect them?

I was wondering which old anime to watch (pre 2010), and.. I took a huge task upon myself to watch as many as I could. I ended up using a Github repo to pull all the old anime, sorted out the good ones, and watched them all sequentially. I found many hidden gems in there, too!...amongst the one that.... aren't to my taste..

I rate accordingly:
1- I didn't personally take to it whatsoever
2- Something intrigued me in it, but the writing was bad, or it wasn't to my tastes.
3- It has potential, but it didn't execute it well enough for my tastes.
4- Not half bad, but not my personal tastes.
5- Somewhat solid, has an intriguing feature or plot device
6- It was/is very interesting, but they went nowhere with it, typically.
7- Solid. It's something I could rewatch and have no regrets in doing so.
8- Is very good, and I can't complain about too much
9- I would stand my ground in a debate with this show, due to how solid I believe it to be.
10- Top anime, peak of cinema; These anime are anime I will never forget, no matter how many years I live.

I may seem like an elitist or I'm edgy. I'm not one of those things, chat me up to figure out which one I am. I grew up on anime, and while it's not "everything to me", it's a very important piece to my life. I watch Anime and read Manga almost all the time, whether it's just old shows while coding or whatnot, or even down to rewatching something for a comfort show. As you could surmise, I don't have many friends.

After quite some time of bingeing anime I didn't care too much for, I've finally decided to just let that thought go. Just because animators worked on it, doesn't mean I have to watch every second of every anime in existence. And thus, from this moment, I no longer shall follow up on certain anime. However, others, the ones I liked, I will.

"Completed" means I've read it (and may not own it anymore), on-hold means I have it irl, ready to read, plan to read means I want to purchase it, and dropped are.. well ones I couldn't quite like personally.
