A note on Anime OP Scores: I'm not just rating these based on the songs. In general, the songs should be appealing one way or another. If they aren't appealing, then it's already failed in the most basic sense. I value great visuals, credit and lyric integration, and interesting shots. This is thing that's presenting the anime to you and appealing to the audience every week, they better make it count.

Anime Scores:
10 - A step above the rest, not just great anime. The best of the best that also appeals to me directly

9 - Some of the best I've ever seen. A relatively small group that just misses the mark in some or a few ways. My favourites that aren't perfect in every way but the highs they achieve are truly worth seeing.

8 - Shows the break the mold and do interesting things, they may not top the peak but they're nonetheless absolutely worth considering. Definitely more than a few hidden gems end up here.

7 - My general line of good anime, ones that were enjoyable all the way through but either missed the mark in some ways or didn't do enough to truly pique my interest.

6 - Shows that were overall enjoyable enough but are either truly bland or had major shortcomings that held them back from a higher score. The border at which I could still say I enjoyed it for the most part.

5 - Truly average, not good, not bad, not anything. The shortfalls of each start to become pretty overwhelming and damage the show enough to drop it down here. That or they just bore me into giving it a 5.

4 - More than any category, the score that I'll actively complain about the most, it's a valley of missed opportunities and shows I probably wanted to like but banged their nuts on the low bar.

2&3 - Kinda just meld together, I don't really see too many shows that I just straight-up hate or despise watching so it kinda just fills the gap here and I don't really have anything interesting to say. They're just bad.

1 - A show which truly has no merit whatsoever and there is no reason to ever consider watching. On every level, it's failed as a product of entertainment.
