As usual don't know most of those titles except a few. Though Ruri Dragon still being there is quite something. Still waiting for it's return.

@RobertBobert I'm not one to look at genders of authors that quickly, heh. But there is a similarity on those characters in this and FMA. The other series are different indeed.

@Azuchi The author of the Alchemist is a woman. Also, you can look at her other work, Silver Spoon. MC looks generic, but doesn't look like the FMA heroes.

MC from Yomi no Tsugai is extremely similar to Edward from FMA with a hint of Hawkeye, also from FMA.
Same creator yes but couldn't he make the MC a little different. Like if Edward and Hawkeye had a kid and this is the kid.

It's been a long time since I've seen popular Japanese, whis manga that took first place were practically unknown in the West. Usually Japanese and American tops are more or less combined in the first 2-3 places.

@Piromysl certainly. Excluding the already finished ones, ongoing have a higher probability of adaptation.
