'Wind Breaker' Announces Main Cast for Spring 2024

The official website of the television anime adapting Satoru Nii's Wind Breaker manga revealed the main cast, a teaser promo, and a key visual (pictured) on Sunday. The television anime by CloverWorks is scheduled to premiere in April 2024.

Haruka Sakura: Yuuma Uchida (Banana Fish)
Akihiko Nirei: Shouya Chiba (86)
Kyoutarou Sugishita: Kouki Uchiyama (Buddy Daddies)
Hayato Suou: Nobunaga Shimazaki (Date A Live)
Hajime Umemiya: Yuuichi Nakamura (Jujutsu Kaisen)
Touma Hiiragi: Ryouta Suzuki (Dr. Stone: New World)

Nii began serializing the delinquent action manga on Kodansha's Magazine pocket website in January 2021. The 13th volume shipped on August 8, while the 14th volume is scheduled to go on sale on November 9.

Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English in March 24 last year. The ninth volume released on October 20.

@RobertBobert oh ok lmao and Hayamin would be a nice partner for him but he had a crush on / admired Noto Mamiko very much back then when she was available 😆 even those women that he is interested or paired with are married, he always has Sugita by his side lol.

@Vargnatt No, at least I haven't heard of it. Some even joke that he and Sugita are having a bromance. It’s just that in my eyes, he and Saori Hayami create such an ideal female-male pairing as a VA that I can’t help but feel this way.

So, Yuichi Nakamura followed his “wife” and also resumed his active career? I was already starting to fear that, as a veteran, he would only play minor characters.
