According to Bessatsu Margarette February issue, a live action movie of Kimi ni Todoke was announced. The detail will be given in the later issues of the magazine.

the actors chosen are perfect imho, and i'm actually really excited about this...

in saying this, i have yet to see a live action (originated from a manga) that is good (not that i have seen many)

so i hope this would meet my expectations ^^

Every live action adaptation of a manga (which has also been done as an anime) i've ever seen has always failed... I agree with WcDuck - not sure if i want.
then again, i'm still going to watch it, either way. :D

Well, I can't say that I'm /not/ excited about it, but... It won't have the charm the anime did. I'm afraid that the fact that it's real people will kill everything due to the cheesy dramatics.

Exaggerated anime = sure. Exaggerated things that include real people? Not so much
