Nintendo DS Game of Kimi ni Todoke Announced

According to Bessatsu Margaret, Kimi ni Todoke was announced to get a game adaptation on Nintendo DS.
The detail of the game will be given later in the magazine.

Kimi ni Todoke anime will start this autumn.

It will be like Mario Party: a bunch of mini-games.

- Use your stylus to shade in blushes on Sawako and Kazehaya's faces in under 20 seconds.

- Nintendogs-like side game with Pedro. Use the stylus to rub his belly. Do it wrong, and he'll yip at you.

Or you can be the Wario:

- Pop as many sparkly bubbles as you can that appear in the background to ruin Sawako's mood!

Something like that.

I agree on this, most Jap. games never really translate *sad*
I love the anime but if i didn't have the sub under it i would have probaly gone loco xD

However, I think I would enjoy playing the real DS game too... it would be fun to have more DS games that are translated from rarer anime.

I would really like to play a game about Kimi No Todoke. I read that you run around as Sawako and make friends while playing through the manga. On the top screen is a garden and the friendships are like flowers, the more of a friend you are with a person the more the flower will grow. It sounds like a very beautiful game.

I wonder what kind of game this will be... an RPG quest game? Maybe Sawako will have to go around helping her fellow classmates to earn friendship or popularity points. Then she'll level up when she has enough and will eventually become popular and not feared anymore?
