Wait, this "shoujo" isekai is adapted from the manga adaptation of the light novel rather than the source material? Interesting...

Still wish for more actual shoujo anime though. Oh well at least @EndlessMaria might like the MC
Yes! Her design is 10/10! I will watch this isekai for the cute kid >w<;;

should be wholesome as heck.

Escaflowne is isekai?

the best Isekai from the 80s

I'm sure you'd agree

the amount of laziness with isekai nowadays is pretty baffling, i mean, at least this one isnt about an OP kid with short black hair, but still couldnt get away from the medevial setting, hence its probably gonna have alot of the same monsters, maybe a dungeon, a demon lord, etc
Escaflowne is an absolute masterpiece and they were other good shows like Fushi yuugi and Rayearth

I have to agree with you these days isekai are lazy and worst part for me they're unoriginally garbage, this one I think is one of them

well to be fair i never said they were garbage, i just said theyre lazy af and the reason i think that is cause theres a long ass checklist that like 90% of them seem to have that i dont think any other genre has ever had

i mean, when not only do most of them have what is basically a redesign of Kirito, but also pretty much copy paste monsters as well, you know theres no creativity let alone the medieval setting

Many proto-isekai from the 80's and 90's like visions of escaflowne are not medieval but futuristic, nowadays the studios and authors aren't creative enough to come up with original worlds so they used the overly used and safe formula of medieval world because everyone is familiar with it from rpg video games.

It's poorly trying to simulate a fantasy style very superficially.
