Synopsis
Tousuke Rokudou is a first-year attending Aomori High, a school full of delinquents. He is often bullied by his classmates due to his incompatibility with their behavior, the only exceptions being his two good friends who are also social outcasts. Frustrated at the way they are treated, the three wish they could stand up and claim the fun, peaceful school life of their dreams.
However, Tousuke's life takes a drastic turn when he receives a package from his late grandfather containing their family heirloom, a scroll said to possess the power to save him from impending danger. Upon holding the scroll, a sudden glow emanates, leaving a strange mark on Tousuke's forehead.
Thinking that he's received the means to free himself and his friends from their daily treatment, Tousuke is shocked to find out that its effects are far different than what he had imagined. Although his bullying continues, he realizes that the mark from the scroll acts as a charm, capturing the hearts of delinquent girls—in particular, Ranna Himawari, the strongest of them all. Geez! if something from 2016 is older then I guess all the 80s and 90s manga I have read must be from antiquity for you?
I don't really mean older as in it is old if it had ended in 2016 as I assumed, but that it's old for a show that just got adapted. Usually adaptations get announced while the manga is publishing or right as it ends.
Also yea, I only started watching anime around 2017 and reading manga about a year later, so yea anything pre-2000 is ancient to me.

WOW self-insert main character who receives magic, which makes delinquent girls fall in love with him. This is just blatantly lazy. Yet another escapist fantasy of girls magically starting to like you. I guess I'm not the target audience though, maybe the next key visual or trailer will give a better impression.
Satelight is a pretty decent studio, so maybe the visuals won't be bad.

It’s weird, I’m new enough to anime that this is only like the second time I’ve seen a manga I’ve read get adopted. (The first being Tomo-chan)
Gotta say it’s a really cool feeling, hope the show turns out alright.

Besides that it looks like a rough 00s anime that barely looks like the original source??
You can be cartoonish and non-moe(whatever that means since moe doesnt have a specific art ) without being bad. Iruma-kun is cartoonish and looks good. This looks like a key visual for an anime 20 years ago.

Because I don't see any other reason to consider this art to be bad. This is a typical cartoon-ish design that relies more on comedy than detailed drawing.

When did I say it had to be moe-ish? Have you actually read the manga? Because I have, and I don't think the art is particularly great. It's not ugly by any means, but I'd say it's mediocre/passable at best.

I'm sorry, but no matter how much you say "I think so" or imply that if I don't agree with you, I haven't read the manga, your answers won't carry any weight. I still don't see anything ugly or bad about this design.

Never said that it had to have detailed drawings either. I just don't think the art is good, again it's perfectly passable. The character designs range from fine to actually ugly, and nothing stands out in the series stylistically. And if you haven't actually read the manga, I don't really think you can speak about this series' art style.

It seemed interesting untill I read shounen, harem and saw the mc page.

Oh hey, I read some of this. The art wasn't my favorite, but the parts I read of it were fun.
Also, this one is kind of older, right? Every time something older gets adapted I get a sliver of hope that Saotome Senshu will get an adaptation.

Art doesn't have to be incredibly moe-ish to be good.

I clearly remember, that when Nagatoro adaptation was announced and this whole drama regarding that mistranslation happened, people were saying that THIS is an actual bullying manga.
Is this really that hard?
Oh, and it seems that Main Girl in that one will share VA with Nagatoro. Coincidence? I think not.
MC is never bullied by the main girl, if thats your question.
He is victim of bullying in his school. At least early on.
