i'm curious, how much of the Tenchi-verse have you actually seen? i've seen almost all of it. only thing i haven't completed is the Pretty Sammy spinoff. 

so, if something doesn't "make sense" to YOU, those of us who DO get it can't get new content? that sounds like a YOU problem not an EVERYBODY ELSE problem. why don't YOU improve yourself and ask questions about what YOU don't understand. or heck, do some solo research and LEARN about what puzzles YOU.

you think Dragon Ball makes sense? aye carumba! you must not have seen the very earliest parts of the franchise. or you have skipped the now infamous 're-used and re-edited' section of DB where the studio didn't create new content at all. they just took earlier episodes' frames and hashed them together. with almost 10 minutes of total 'Previously on Dragonball' and 'Next Time on Dragonball' recap and preview in each episode. or hey, 20 minutes of whichever character had an impacted bowel that week and they animated them SCREAMING the whole time trying to take a dump. 

i'm not trashing DB, i'm busting its' chops for having a spotty past. i watched DB in the US from episode 1 all the way through the beginning of the Majiin Bhuu arc and finally dropped it. i'm not saying DB should be stopped. i DO wish it would come to SOME form of conclusion. but /shrug/ the fans spend the cash, and the Big Yen Guys in Japan still keep making money on DB. so i just nod, smile vaguely, and welcome the super hero whatever god thingy content DB is doing these days. because i know out there some fan has a great big giant woody for DB and is a happy human being when new content comes out.    

as to Naruto/Boruto /shrug/ again. once more i just nod, smile vaguely, and suchforth for the same reasons i mentioned in the last three sentences of my previous paragraph. i watched Naruto from ep1 till one of the advancement exams Naruto et. al. went through and dropped that one too. that franchise will keep going until it stops. 

but hey, i'm just me, one guy. :) in this single topic there are other folks who are happy, interested, curious, or puzzled about new Tenchi-verse content.  

Please let this franchise rest. At least Dragon Ball and Naruto still make sense.

ahhh crap, so they're skipping the isekai section of GXP again!? maaaan that sucks! i wanted to see if the super sci-fi space aliens would be entirely idiotic and the Earth folks look around in wonder going... 'you're kidding me. seriously? all those authors were RIGHT? this stuff exists!?'

well, it is new Tenchi-verse content so it ought to be good. 

This adapts the story that is set after the GXP novels but before Paradise War which is the story that is also set afrer Ryo-ohki 4 but before Ryo-ohki 5.

does anybody know yet if this is the 'lead in' to the story arc that has yet to be animated... what happened to Seina and his 'team' after episode 26 of GXP? there is a REALLY big gap in the Tenchi-verse anime between GXP 26 and Tenchi Muyou! Ryououki 4th Season. Seina, his team, and other Tenchi-verse characters MENTION Seina's previous adventures in TMR S4 and forwards but we haven't SEEN it animated.   

have you seen all the content? all of it? i own first-print English dub DVDs of the original OVAs that i bought when they were originally released in the US. i've also watched the almost the ENTIRETY of the Tenchi franchise since then. the only exception i have is the Pretty Sammy series. now that one wasn't my cup of tea, but it still was an incredibly well-drawn set of episodes i saw. i didn't enjoy the premise and suchforth all that much. each piece in Tenchi should be considered a great work. quite frankly this franchise is a cornerstone of anime history and anybody who DOESN'T think it is at least important is blind.

Yes!!! I'm super excited for more Tenchi as it was my first harem series and I thought we weren't going anymore after the 5th OVA. Tenchi Muyo GXP was really good and the girls were super hot. With that in mind I really need to watch the 4th OVA.

I need to rewatch the original and then go through the rest of the series because I barely remember anything

I don't care if it just a 30min ova but see the aftermath if the war and how is relationship with aura, yukine, Chiara and lashara is going would make me very happy

Is it so important? This franchise has long since become something of a harem version of Lupin.

This news has made my Christmas! Hopefully get s2 of war on Geminar aswell. I need to see if my boy is still running away or finally building his Harem
