'Spy Kyoushitsu' TV Anime Reveals Additional Cast, Teaser Promo
The official website of the television anime adaptation of Takemachi's Spy Kyoushitsu (Spy Room) revealed on Friday additional cast, a teaser visual (pictured), and a teaser promotional video. The anime is set to premiere in 2023.Cast
Grete: Miku Itou (Takt Op. Destiny)
Sybilla: Nao Touyama (Gleipnir)
Monika: Aoi Yuuki (Youjo Senki)
Thea: Sumire Uesaka (Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san)
Sara: Ayane Sakura (5-toubun no Hanayome)
Annette: Tomori Kusunoki (Assassins Pride)
Keiichirou Kawaguchi (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Gou) will be helming the anime at feel.. Shinichi Inotsume (Platinum End) is in charge of the series composition, and Sumie Kinoshita (Piano no Mori (TV)) will be drawing the character design.
Takemachi started writing the action comedy light novel in January 2020 with illustrations by Tomari under the Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint. Fujimi Shobo will be shipping the eighth volume on July 20. Yen Press licensed the light novel in English last January and will release the fourth volume on September 9.
Kaname Seu began drawing a manga adaptation in May 2020 on the Monthly Comic Alive magazine. Media Factory will ship the third volume on July 20. Yen Press licensed the manga in English in June 2021 and released the second volume on June 21.

I'm a bit outdated with western show trend, isn't this spy trend attempts to follow what's trending for western show? I mean okay i kinda like spy show if it's done right i suppose.
it brings air of mystery but it needs not to be shoot with watch and talk from behind like a puppet show though.

Honestly, I was completely unaware that Spy Room was getting an anime adaptation! I must have been inactive in MAL during those days when this announcement was made. Like, wow!
I'm aware of this awesome light novel and I've only read the first two volumes so far. All the girls are incredible and I'm pretty sure most of the cast will be likable.
I have watched promotional videos of the LN around a year ago. If I'm not mistaken, that's most of the same voice actresses from the old PV. (I don't remember the voices of Grete and Annette being the same as it was originally and my memory is blurry..) If they're going with the same cast lineup, then.....
Now I'm so hyped for this! I really enjoyed reading this LN before, but haven't had the time anymore to continue reading LN's, unfortunately.
