Only 3 episodes lol, but I guess that makes sense given the state that this studio was in a couple of years ago

The last "Ikkitousen" I watched was "Shuugaku Toushi Keppuuroku". I didn't even bother with "Extravaganza Epoch" or "Western Wolves". I am about looking forward to this as mush as I was in seeing "AIKa Zero" being released in 2009.

"Ikkitousen" hasn't had a full blown seasonal series since "Xtreme Xecutor". Panchira action Anime kind of died with the last season of "Freezing".

To be honest I much rather want Studio Arms masterpiece Valkyrie Drive: Mermaid to get a second season. That is an anime for the true man of culture Hehehehehe

But with this many females, I might wanna watch this. And I prefer If there are no males as mains or in the supporting cast. I only want cute little lesbians,,,YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES

And ofc I want a lot of Yuri smut. This is studio Arms after all, and they are experts in wonderful Yuri smut

How is this getting a sequel after sequel? Is it really that popular in Japan?

Nice, I see Ryomou on the cover there. Wasn't sure she'd even be in this honestly so that's good news. Unfortunately looks like we're back to the 3 episodes every 4 years pattern but meh at least the series isn't dead. With some luck maybe they'll be 40 minutes episodes or something.

Wasn't Arms got bankrupt in 2020 ?

When Common Sense (Arms) filed for bankruptcy, its assets seem to have been absorbed into its parent company, Studio Signpost. As the studio was established in 1996, when then known as Studio Kikan, spun-off its adult animation business to a new company, named Arms. It seems that Studio Signpost will continue using the Arms brand for its ecchi works, such as Ikkitousen.
