Manga 'Fuufu Ijou, Koibito Miman.' Gets Anime Adaptation
An anime adaptation of Yuuki Kanamaru's Fuufu Ijou, Koibito Miman. (More than a Couple, Less than Lovers.) manga was announced by Kadokawa on Monday.
Synopsis
Third-year high school student Jirou Yakuin hoped to partner with Shiori Sakurazaka of the same class in the mandatory "Couple Practical" course. In this practical, students must demonstrate that they have the necessary skillset to live with a partner of the opposite sex while presenting a certain level of harmony to the video surveillance that grades them.
Unfortunately, random chance put his slightly subdued self into the practical with the person polar opposite to him, the gyaru Akari Watanabe. Akari on the other hand hoped to be paired with her crush Minami Tenjin.
Their hopes are doubly dashed when they find out that Shiori and Minami are assigned together. Thus, they reluctantly decide to cooperate to reach the top ten, which would give them the right to exchange partners if both couples agree. To that end, Jirou steals Akari's first kiss without realizing what he'd done, while giving a hurried good-bye kiss... (Source: MU, amended)
Kanamaru began drawing the comedy romance manga in Monthly Young Ace in March 2018. Kadokawa published the sixth volume on June 4, with the seventh volume shipping on December 3 (pictured right). The January 2022 issue of Young Ace will feature the announcement on its cover.

Holy freaking shit the guy who told me to read this a few months ago when I said "anything i read gets an anime", ARE YOU SEEING THIS???
Please please read Ookami Shounen Wa Kyou Mo Uso Wo Kasaneru
That was kind of fun holy cow, i got invested reading that
but I've a question, do you think it'll work as an anime? I mean the voice acting would be a real issue because of the crossdressing thing.

Have you even read it?
If you want childhood friends to win that badly, then go watch anime with them winning or read a VN.

This title is a comedy parody of Koi to Uso?
Sorta? But the assigned girl (problaby) wins this time, and is a gal, instead of a shy one.

Pretty decent series. The drama moments are definitely doki doki inducing but the misunderstandings do get quite annoying if I'm being honest
I wonder if that's signalling the end of the manga though. Already in its current state the next few chapters seem to be the climax

I think it would work. Japan has a lot of really impressive voice actors.
