The news doesn't mention, but the anime movie is related to the game, as it is something about "Rendou (連動)" which I don't know how to translate it exactly. Co-happen?

back to say that i wonder if they'll ever announce a second season...since they are making a movie and all. trying not to get my hopes up but, still excited for the movie. hoping it doesn't attract too many new fans though, the fanbase has been slowly getting worse this past year

I just have one question, why is it taking so long? The franchise is quite popular.

The synopsis on the official website (http://ensemblestars-anime.com/rts) shows:
The movies "Tōgenkyo Gōzuken", "Midnight Butlers", and "La Mort" starring the idols of Ensemble Square have been nominated for the annual "Idol Film Festival" (IFF) held in New York. The idols selected as representative head to New York to participate in the award ceremony. After attending the film festival and the reception parties, they decided to enjoy a brief tour of the various locations in New York City before the award ceremony. However, a suspicious shadow was creeping up on them...
I am personally looking forward to this!! My best boys are all in the movie *crys tears of joy!*
**As for a Season 2... it's still possible that they may come out with one. I think they're waiting until the SS finishes...but who knows!** I mean, they did tease Hiiro at the end of the first animation adaption.
