Second Season of 'Love Live! Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Doukoukai' Reveals Additional Cast, Spring 2022 Premiere

The Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club Next Tokimeki Unveiling livestream event revealed on Sunday three additional cast members and it's first key visual (pictured) for the second season of Love Live! Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Doukoukai (Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club) television anime. The second season will premiere in April 2022 on Tokyo MX and other stations.

Cast
Shioriko Mifune: Moeka Koizumi (Shoujo☆Kageki Revue Starlight)
Mia Taylor: Shuu Uchida (Asobi Asobase)
Zhong Lanzhu: Akina Houmoto

The first season debuted on October 3 and concluded with 13 episodes on December 26 last year. Funimation streamed the anime in North America with subtitles. UK anime distributor Anime Limited licensed the show and simulcast it on Crunchyroll in the United Kingdom and Ireland territories.

If this sticks to the source material it certainly won't be much, but nice that there's more nonetheless. Hopefully it'll go mostly original, like the first season dipped its toes into.

Definitely makes you worried if you knew how the original LLSIFAS took the story...
But since S1 is different, I'll place my bet on S2 being different too. Now I'll wonder how they'll bring the three charas. Then again, I'm fine with anything as long as Shizuku have content (lol) XD

Yeah! Uchida Shuu's pronunciation is perfect as she was born and raised in Sydney. You can listen to her live stream or her song I'm still and Toy Doll.

Can’t wait actually. I never thought I would be one for these types of shows but ended up really liking them ironically. I didn’t know it in me all this time. Looking forward to it.

Yes!!! We're going to see Shioriko, Lanzhu, and Mia animated. Though, Shioriko and Lanzhu look a bit weird to me.

Anyways, I can't wait to see the Lanzhu chaos animated. 😈

Today there was a live streaming with the seiyuus from Yuu and my exact three best girls (Ayumu, Emma, Kasumin) so i sort of expected good news. I'm hyped. And at the same time, also concerned about something.

I agree however, Shioriko looks... weird.
