Gurren Lagann Movie for Fall 2008

Animation studio Gainax presented a website for the release of a movie adaptation of the Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann TV series in the fall of 2008. Both the original director and series script editor will return to work on the new project. Gainax will also be hosting four events to celebrate this occasion at this year's Tokyo International Anime Fair, featuring voice actors from the anime.

Instead of retelling the story, they should tell a new story. Maybe focus on Darry and Gimmy now that they are adults. Or reunite the entire gang to fight off another big evil or something. AND AND AND YOKO+SIMON! YA!

Well I just started Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and so far I like it. I'll be waiting to catch this movie although I won't be jumping through hoops to get it.
