GAINAX To Produce New Anime With Car Maker SUBARU

Car manufacturer SUBARU has launched a teaser website of their own anime project. They will collaborate with GAINAX.

Seems to be most probably involving telescopes at the least. Subaru's carrying a bag usually used for lugging around telescopes.

hmm...looks like a moe anime now.

The setting's probably in the school's astronomy club, and the time of year will be the winter semester (check out the long sleeves.)

Judging by appearances, I think Nanako will be the club president (dressed to kill, and look at her confident eyes.)
Aoi will be the smart, athletic one (running shoes and shorts means athletic, and glasses usually mean smart.)
Subaru will be a classic "good girl" and will probably be the new recruit to the club...maybe something between Yui from K-ON and Recete from the game Recettear?
Itsuki will be the moe one...probably a polite but klutzy girl. She reminds me of Miyuki from Lucky Star, but without the glasses (so probably not a walking encyclopedia.)
Hikaru...I'm not sure. The sleeveless shirt definitely says something about her personality, as does her being the only one who's looking away...she might be a genki girl, though.
And as for the unnamed mascot...it's probably either an alien or a stuffed animal. I'm hoping alien.

About general character design...I'm actually not that impressed so far. Subaru, Itsuki and Hikaru all have the same eyes, just with different color. Aoi was probably based on Nagato Yuki, what with the jacket, hair style, and glasses.

Well, all told I'm still looking forward to this anime, and it's kinda fun musing on what it might be in the meantime. ^^

Also, I still like the idea of them piloting car\mechs (even if it completely screws up my current interpretation of them. =P)

Actually they are named its just the plugin screws up now and then:

Especially loli type anime, Puchi Puri Yuushi was really good, very accurate to every one of their Princess Maker Titles, even putting a little bit of PM5 elements in it even though it's more like PM1-4.

I'm going to reserve judgment on the quality of this anime until I see a bit more, but this does look like it might turn out ok.

I humbly disagree, I think they look more like school uniforms, with the exception of the one on the far left. She's clearly wearing a cape and wide brimmed hat, so she really does look like a magical girl (or maybe Nagato Yuki during the school festival, but with tsundere twintails ^^)
