Kadokawa opened an official website for an television anime adaptation of Hotondo Shindeiru's Isekai Ojisan (Uncle from Another World) manga on Friday.
Seventeen years ago, Takafumi's uncle fell into a coma, but now he's back like a man risen from his grave. Soon, Takafumi discovers two bizarre things: His uncle treasures video games above all else, and, while comatose, he was actually transported to another world as some heroic guardian! The comedy fantasy manga began serializing on the ComicWalker we manga portal in June 2018. Kadokawa will ship the sixth compiled volume on July 23. Isekai Ojisan has a cumulative 1.5 million copies of its volumes in circulation.
