It's gotta be better than the film, anyway.

netflix is pumping out a lot of "quality" ""anime"" lately

It doesn't look to bad at all. Netflix make some good anime. Will have to look into this.

This is going to be complete shit. I'm starting to wish that Netflix would just stay out of producing anime.

This already seems terrible, and not just because it's Netflix or 3D. That poster makes it look like it will be on Gibiate levels of bad.

the movie was straight up garbage and of course this is at a 3dcg place, i really wish netflix would think about quality (think netflix think!) and not just quantity when it comes to them investing in anime, they occasionally bring good stuff to the table, but you really gotta sift through so much trash and not even the good kind of trash, ugly ass less than the bare minimum effort, 3dcg kind of trash.

it's gonna be 'yasuke' all over again...

So they've moved from funding new properties that later turn out to be shit, to funding old ones that are already known to be shit?

Who signed off on this? Who gave it such a bad title? Why is the plot seemingly just retreading most of the original? Why in god's name are the characters a "ronin" and "orc," as if those are both races or something?

I don't think any anime has made such a godawful first impression in a long time. Fuck this movie.

I’m guessing this is a prequel?
