The Last Clannad Episode is to be DVD release only

According to the AniDB, episode 22 is the last episode, followed a week later by a 'summer special', or the 23rd ep. The final episode, ep 24, shall be released as an OVA on the final disk release of Clannad in July. Yes, July.

So, all of you Clannad watchers will now have to add the Clannad OVA to your plan to watch lists. (Unless.. you don't want to? Not forcing you)

Wiki: "Of the twenty-four episodes, twenty-three were aired on television with the first twenty-two being regular episodes, followed by an additional extra episode. The last episode will be released as an original video animation on the eighth DVD on July 16, 2008 and will be set in an alternate universe from the anime series where Tomoya and Tomoyo are dating."

OH NNNOOOOOOES!
I began watching Clannad today, and have now watched the serie up till ep 8.
Should i put it on hold, and rewatch it when the OVA's are subbed or should watch the remaining 15 episodes now?

A tough decision indeed...

Nope. The Clannad OVA is a special episode that will come out in the last DVD of the TV Series. Clannad After Story is a new series, a direct sequel to Clannad.

Uh, the DVD we're talking about here is the Japanese DVD. So once it gets out, the raw will be out, and it'll be subbed.
