The new season, originally scheduled for October 2020, will premiere on TBS, Sun TV, and BS11 in January 2021, following the delay due to the effects of COVID-19.

The anime series adapts Negi Haruba's romantic comedy manga, which he originally published as a one-shot in Weekly Shounen Magazine in January 2017. The manga joined the magazine's regular lineup in August that year and ended on February 19. Kodansha shipped the 14th and final volume on April 17. 5-toubun no Hanayome has a cumulative 13 million copies of its compiled volumes in circulation.

The first season aired in 12 episodes last Winter. Crunchyroll simulcast the anime with subtitles, while Funimation streamed an English dub. The latter released the anime on home video on May 19.

You thought I'm mad about that? smh

still looks really...meh. and the studio is terrible so far. They better keep the ending the same - rumors are it's gonna be 1-cour and have an original ending. It needs at least 3 cours to not be rushed tbh.

Manga ended quite some time ago and the ending's not that good because it felt forced, so I wonder if this one's still worth watching.

Wish people would learn that a series isn't garbage just because their favorite girl didn't win.

I don’t think they should do an anime original ending. Even though the girl I was rooting for didn’t win the ending wasn’t as disappointing as everyone says it is. They should respect the authors choice and keep it as it is.

I guess I could say I'm looking forward to this, but

what are those legs?

I'll only watch it if they go original and change the ending. So, I'll wait for the season to end before watching it.

Season 2 is not long enough to reach the manga's ending. Hold that in for the next seasons.
