'Dr. Stone: Stone Wars' Debuts in January 2021

The official website of the Dr. Stone television anime revealed a second teaser visual (pictured) and promotional video for the second season on Friday. The new season, Dr. Stone: Stone Wars, will premiere in January 2021.

Dr. Stone adapts Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi's post-apocalyptic adventure sci-fi manga, which began its serialization in Weekly Shounen Jump in March 2017. Shueisha published the 16th volume on Friday. The manga has a cumulative 5 million copies of its volumes in circulation.

The 24-episode first season by TMS Entertainment premiered in Summer 2019. Crunchyroll simulcast the series with subtitles, while Funimation streamed an English dub. The latter plans to release the first 12 episodes on home video on September 22. Adult Swim's Toonami programming block began airing the show on August 24 last year.

VIZ Media published the first three chapters of the manga in English simultaneously with the Japanese release as a part of its Jump Start initiative and subsequently began serializing it in their digital Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The company now simulpubs the manga through its new Shounen Jump platform and will ship the 12th volume on July 7.

Can't wait for this battle to play out! Even though I'm not a science freak, Dr. Stone really caught my attention on the subject and made the anime very interesting to watch. Looking forward to season 2 <3

Yo, January 2021 is gonna be hyped! I will graduate from high school in late December(A semester early), and then go off to college late January! Plus we got Promised Neverland season 2, and now Dr. Stone releasing January 2021! Watch My Hero Academia season 5 get released for January 2021 too, and then boom, my life will be paradise! A perfect reward for surviving high school and going off to my dream college!

Great news.

I hope 2nd season brings more manga sales and makes it more popular in Japan. I heard that Japan didn't liked 1st season that much. Let's hope 2nd season becomes a mega hit.

the fantasy genre 2021 winter line's up really awesome, i bet most people in japan will not take much sleep during that time to watch anime. Still my top priority "NON NON BIYORI and Yuru camp"
