Anime Movie The Vanishment of Haruhi Suzumiya Announced [Update Nov 9]

At the end of "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya New Animation (Rerun)" final episode aired on SUN TV, anime movie "Suzumiya Haruhi no Syoshitsu (The Vanishment of Haruhi Suzumiya)" was announced to be premiered next Spring.

According to CINECITTA official schedule, the premiere date is February 6th. This date is temporal, so it can be changed in the future.

I'm pretty sure Mazui will be subbing it when it comes out on DVD considering they did all that work and now know their translation and grammatical errors in the Camrip version. If not, then Mazui would be stupid for not doing it.

I lol'd when I started to watch the Mazui cam release. Yes, my standards do indeed preclude eye cancer XD.
Glad they put that warning in there.
And I don't care how good something, I'd rather watch it when its at its best, instead of quickly watching it because I can.

IIRC for American DVDs there's usually about a three month gap between theatrical and DVD release. A nine month gap seems waaay too long.

The movie's still in theaters, so yeah =/

Really? Why can we count on it? I have not seen any announcements yet, have you? Oh well, the date is far from unrealistic... yet an infinity too long. Thank God for the camrip!

Well even if it is cam, the story is good enough to overlook the quality. I love it, the new Nagato is so cute, but I like her better with all her power. I cannot believe he chose Haruhi over Nagato. Some questions have been answered and still left me with new ones.

Movie was AMAAAAAAAAAZZZZZINGGGGGGGG!!!! (even if i lost some vision in my eyes from all the flickering from the camera) An HD version needs to come out so i can rewatch it.... forever :O

Uhm yeah I don't know about this at all but it kinda flickered by in the latest omamori himari ep, so it could just as well be a troll and I know my japanese ain't all that but from this picture I can only see "Haruhi + DVD on sale 26 of feb 2010".
