Shueisha announced a television anime adaptation of LINK and Kotaro Shono's Shuumatsu no Harem (World's End Harem) manga on Tuesday. The anime series is slated for a 2021 premiere.

Synopsis
The Man-Killer Virus: a lethal disease that has eradicated 99.9% of the world's male population. Mizuhara Reito has been in cryogenic sleep for the past five years, leaving behind Tachibana Erisa, the girl of his dreams.

When Reito awakens from the deep freeze, he emerges into a sex-crazed new world where he himself is the planet's most precious resource. Reito and four other male studs are given lives of luxury and one simple mission: repopulate the world by impregnating as many women as possible! All Reito wants, however, is to find his beloved Erisa who went missing three years ago. Can Reito resist temptation and find his one true love? (Source: Seven Seas Entertainment)

The sci-fi ecchi manga began its serialization in Shounen Jump+ web magazine in May 2016. Shueisha will publish the 11th volume on Wednesday (pictured). Shuumatsu no Harem has a cumulative 5 million copies of its compiled volumes in print.

LINK and SAVAN launched a spin-off manga titled Shuumatsu no Harem: Fantasia (World's End Harem: Fantasia) in Ultra Jump magazine in April 2018. The fourth volume shipped on January 1. The manga also runs in Shounen Jump+ and Young Jump web magazine.

Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English under its Ghost Ship imprint in October 2017. The eighth volume went on sale on March 31. The company is also publishing the spin-off and released the second volume on February 25.

good, action, girls and ecchi, the best combination

I think you already made this reply to one of my posts, but yes, this is of course the best combination for anime

What a PERFECT ANIME to watch for all the lonely virgins out here who can't invite a single girl on a prom night LOL 🤣🤣

Imagine trying to use the word "virgin" as insult in 2020. How lame and unoriginal.

Oh f**k me. There is a really weird layer of tension throughout the manga. Yes, the ecchi scenes are plentiful. VERY plentiful. But the setting somehow feels bleak and incredibly foreboding. Like shit is about to hit the fan at any second kind of feeling. Like, NTR. (Hasn’t happened though. Not yet.) There’s betrayal, government conspiracies and mystery after mystery.

The other male characters also play a role in the story. But they all approach the situation differently. Our MC is the pure guy. We have one guy who just goes with the flow, while another guy actually becomes a villain in the later part of the story. While another gets kidnapped by a sex crazed cult. Each with their own harem of supporters. (Except that last guy.) It’s a very interesting and weird story.

Sounds like a cool show. Thanks for the detailed synopsis.

I really liked manga. It's a reward for me.

Let me guess, mc doesn't wanna have sex with anyone even though girls are already on top of him. Not a bad idea but I feel it will be mediocre.

Since 2020 is canceled, 2021 is saved now.

Oh, the lame ecchi copy of Y The Last Man is going to get an anime.

MC is a reactive loser, and plot relies on pandering, moslty. Serious moments of tension, like the conspiracy of the government are ruined by dumb in your face service.

Sure is going to get a lot of extra "angles" for certain scenes in the anime adaptation.

never thought this thing would actually see the day of light, always liked Kotaro Shono art from their Hdoujins but like most H doujin artists their writing is shit and usually shouldn't be seen by the faint hearten even if they tone it down for normal mangas

but if they can get a anime adaptation it makes me wonder how low of a bar the anime industry has set if something like this gets the OK lol

AT-X or bust for this adaptation, if it has enough sex and somehow can't be aired on AT-X, then Comic Festa should air it uncensored in ONA format.

You can say it's sex, ecchi etc. but manga is really good overall. We are going to wait for uncensored anime version after normal release ^^.

If they are going to censor it anyway, why bother doing this

People who'll compare this to Ishuzoku, please stop. It's nothing but an insult to Ishuzoku Reviewers.

Trust me, you don't wanna have that expectation because the protagonist here is the most Beta MC ever.

Isn't there more then one MC I recall it focus on more then one character and the other two have no problem getting it on so to speak while the other one acts like a princess's saving himself for the girl hes looking for
True, but those other two guys just go along with the flow, they don't have some goal for themselves, I consider them more third rate than the MC honestly.

If this turns out well, you think Parallel Paradise might get an adaptation? I kinda liked that one better.
