'Ikebukuro West Gate Park' Announces Staff and Cast for Summer 2020

Kadokawa opened an official website for the Ikebukuro West Gate Park anime series on Wednesday, revealing the staff, cast, and a teaser visual (pictured). The television anime produced by Doga Kobo (Plastic Memories, New Game!) will air in July 2020.

The anime series adapts Ira Ishida's urban mystery novel series, which began serialization in Bungeishunjuu's All Yomimono magazine in late 1997, with its first hardcover volume published in 1998.

The novel's first season ended with the tenth volume in 2010. The second season began three and a half years later in 2014. The 15th and latest volume in the series shipped on September 12 last year. Ikebukuro West Gate Park has a cumulative 4.2 million copies of its volumes in circulation.

This is great news!!! Looks like summer will not be so barren for pickings as i thought, first Deca-Dence, now Ikebukuro West Gate Park!!! Looks like i have 4 anime in total i'd like to watch so far this summer(Enen no Shouboutai: Ni no Shou, Great Pretender, Deca-Dence and Ikebukuro West Gate Park) If i do end up watching seasonally then i'm all set for summer.
