'Date A Bullet' Anime Unveils Main Staff, Key Visual

The Kadokawa Spring special livestream program revealed the main staff and a key visual (pictured) for the Date A Bullet spin-off anime on Saturday. The anime will receive a theatrical event screening.

Synopsis
This is the story of Tokisaki Kurumi that shouldn't have been told—

The amnesiac young girl, Empty, who woke up in the neighboring world encounters Tokisaki Kurumi. Led by her, the place she arrived at was the school's classroom. In order to kill each other, the girls known as semi-Spirits gathered. Now then—Let's begin our battle (date). (Source: Date A Live Wiki)

Director: Jun Nakagawa (High School Fleet Movie, Demi-chan wa Kataritai episode director)
Character Design: Naoto Nakamura (Egao no Daika, Mekakucity Actors chief animation director)
Studio: GEEKTOYS

Yuichiro Higashide (Fate/Apocrypha, Keishichou Tokumubu Tokushu Kyouakuhan Taisakushitsu Dainanaka: Tokunana), the author of the Date A Live Fragments: Date A Bullet spin-off light novel, is writing the script. Asami Sanada (Maria†Holic, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei) is reprising as the lead character Kurumi Tokisaki.

Fujimi Shobo began printing the spin-off novel in March 2017, featuring illustrations by NOCO. Kadokawa shipped the sixth volume on March 19.

What I'm worried about is; when exactly did this become a movie instead of a season of TV? If the 6th Volume of the series just came out, there's obviously enough content for 2 seasons worth of tv. Why exactly, and what are they doing with a movie?

For those wondering, this has NOTHING to do with the main story. It's just a side story. You can see it as a stand-alone story tbh.

It's just that some people might be wondering if it has ties to the main story, it doesn't. Just wanted to clarify that.

I liked the 6.74 and 61.9 show. Only the 5.75 sucked

Uh, according to MAL, the 3 shows GEEKTOYS were in charge of respectively had : 6.74, 6.19 & 5.75. Well perhaps they'll make a blast with Date a Bullet.

I'm just happy to see more of Kurumi !

They made only 3 anime (one currently airing), so "as always" is a bit strong statement. But I guess they will handle it.

Studio choice is a little worrying but here's to hoping they'll be able to pull it off.

Kurumi is easily the best girl of the franchise so I'm kind of looking forward to it.
